Since I am the sole provider of kittie treats and kittie dins, I doubt it, since the cats are well aware of that fact. Cats may be self centered, but they are also concerned about the continuation of the dinner process. I think the author has been at the catnip a little heavily.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Actually, "your" cats are only aware that a larger-than-them thing routinely gives them sustenance.
