Given that Haining appears to be doing his best ostrich imitation by sticking his head in the sand and pretending that the court order doesn't exist (by deleting it) I think it unlikely that he will show up tomorrow.

In some respects this is a very effective way of dealing with an nosey individual but it also shows a heavy handed response by the police effectively stopping someone filming

Shabby behaviour by the two cops who obstructed and intimidated him. Maybe Toronto has so little crime and so many underemployed cops that they are able to waste their working time like this.

I think the Police just need to grow up and understand that videocameras are everywhere now. This is the era of vines and youtubes, CCTV and drones. They cannot be exempt just because they wish it so. Any citizen who wishes to record a public event should be asked to stand ten paces clear of the action, and warned that if anything significant happens while they are recording, then their phone may be seized for evidence. After that the cops should just get on with their job. IMHO, etc.

I totally agree. I thought the guy kept his cool very well in the face of such confrontational behaviour from those cops. I think they were hoping to provoke him into some kind of reaction that'd give them some dubious justification to arrest him. I'm glad they were disappointed.
