On Facebook, periodic references are being made to this cruise; and our very own Demosthenes has made some very excellent comments about it.

My wife and I are considering taking a round-the-world cruise in a few years; and this ship is one of the ones which makes that trip. If we got on board and found something like this going on, I'd stow away in the hold for the duration of the voyage.

I don't know how I managed to miss the first half of this sentence:

"Q probably has no idea that he was arrested by the IRS Criminal Investigation Division as soon as he got off the boat, or that he’s now facing over six hundred years of jail time for doing the same sort of things he advised his audiences to try for themselves."

I must have glossed over the word "arrested" and read it as "indicted" or something by mistake.

But human bodies have been referred to as vessels (somewhere); and thus a human body comes within the scope of admiralty law (or something like that).... So, Popeye Morton ought to be careful passing through the bulkhead of the courtroom compartment, because if he steps upon the wrong part of the deck, he subjects himself to the jurisdiction of the black-robed captain up on the bridge.

The Mortons were apparently found guilty on all counts.

Well, that worked well didn't it???!!!! If they were using Lentz's stuff there probably wasn't much a real lawyer could have done either. People stupid enough to use Karl's stuff are usually stupid enough to be guilty of what they're charged with.

Sean Morton faces up to 650 years in prison when he is sentenced June 19; Melissa Morton faces up to 625 years.

You Americans are hardass about jail time. We're lucky if tax evaders get a couple of years.

Didn't find anything specifically on something called a Psychic Investment Mutual Fund, unless you mean what is referred to here? It mentions a trial date of April 4, 2017.
