I think the concept of a negative square one is necessary to understand Peter of England and RE. After all, RE is an imaginary currency, and the imaginary numbers are defined by reference to the square root of negative one. Perhaps the symbol for the RE currency should be i. "But Mr. Banker, I already paid my mortgage by sending you 4,000i."
Actually, it should probably be a complex number, which has the form a * bi, where a and b are real numbers and i is the square root of -1. In Peter's case, the Re is the imaginary component, while the real component is the actual pound notes that suckers must send to him.
So the complex number relevant to most WeRe Bank customers would be in the form:

35£ + 150,000i

Where the 35 pounds is the amount of cash sent to Peter and 150,000i is the face amount of the promissory note given to WeRe bank.

I wonder if they accept Re :snicker:
JULIAN: I recommend we try Per verulium ad camphorum actus injuria linctus est.
SANDY: That's your actual Latin.
HORNE: What does it mean?
JULIAN: I dunno - I got it off a bottle of horse rub, but it sounds good, doesn't it?

Aren't they, like every other businees in the UK, required by the UCC and the Bills of Exchange Act, not to mention the Magna Carta, required to accept Peter's homemade legal tender? :haha: :haha:

If one of our illuminati shills attends this meeting they should definitely challenge Peter on the spot to go up to the bar and buy a pint with Re.

I think the meeting should be publicised as widely as possible so that anyone who "needs" to meet Peter face to face to "discuss" WeRe bank gets the opportunity of hearing about it.

I wouldn't put it past Peter to set up a stunt: Peter hands over a pretty Re note and gets a pint in return. Later that day, Peter slips barman a tenner.

Wasn't there a video recently, apparently of a car salesman claiming he would happily accept a WeRe cheque for a Ferrarri?

Hi I cannot get on to the We Re forum or We Re Bank I think Google is blocking it, is there anything I can do?. Thank you
These people amuse me, cant reach the Weird bank web site so it must be because Google are blocking it. Normal people would just enquire of Piss take if the site was up. Nothing from Peter on his upcoming meeting though, bit surprised he does not want to advertise the event on his own page (not) Bet he is a no show.
When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.

I think it'll be a no-show as well - at least not in person.

What with the prospect of a visit from all the angry punters who've ruined themselves thinking Petey's magical cheques and LLTs would actually work, the vengeful element at Goofy that want to and who have publicly promised to cause him grief and the very real possibility that plod may have finally taken an interest, put down their donuts long enough and welcomed news of an opportunity to go hands on then it'd be surreal if he did.

We might get a remake of the moment Dean Clifford got nicked before his adherents, our very own UK version of that famous event. Maybe Ceylon could claim to have had his toe run over as Petey is carted off.

Bet its a phone-in or video call;

"Sorry lads, can't be here in person, too busy filling my wheelbarrow with used readdies flooding into Dulcie Street from the next batch of loosers erm freethinkers even now - oh and don't all of you forget to sign up - again - pip pip!". (Ha ha ha ha har!)

I wouldn't go that far. We all need a bit of toilet paper at least once a day.

Depends on the quality of the paper PoE is using, and knowing him it is probably pretty cheap.

indeed and that, unfortunately, will give it some value.
I like to refer to him as PoO in my mind anyway so PoOpaper works just fine for me.

Hmm, perhaps LLT really stands for Lightweight Loo Tissue?

I would rather nobody liquidated their asses. It sounds like a very unpleasant sight.
