He hasn't chosen the best day for it - it's reported that storm Katie is on her way out but has some unpleasant weather left to give.

If only he had picked Saturday!

I wonder if there are grounds to section him under the mental health act?

He is clearly a danger to not only himself but others around him as this latest act shows that as what sensible or sane person of his age would break into a property and occupy the roof especially on a day when a storm is battering parts of the UK including Nottingham(although at the moment its quite in Nottingham).

He will be arrested and he will get his day in court however he won't be able to raise the points he wants to as none of them will be relevant.

His daughter should be ashamed of her behavior in encouraging him and trying to whip up a mob,she clearly is only interested in the limelight and not the well being of her farther health and wellbeing.

Loving the comments from Tom on the video, 27 riot vans, 3 armed response teams, 2 dog teams and over 200 'thugs' pretending to be bailiffs and police officers. All at a cost of Millions of pounds.

My goodness he has really lost the plot.

They must be well hidden(maybe their the undercover branch)because from the live stream i saw 1 Cop Car and i think a couple of officers,still noting like embellishing a little/lot to make yourself seem important.

Incredible. Tom is claiming he won every court case. If he is not mentally ill he is as thick as shit.

As Tom's stunt has the ability to provide us with endless days of humour, I started a new thread here:

PS: Just think of all that extra overtime for Nottingham Police on this quiet miserable Bank Holiday.

Well, looks like Tom will get his wish for a criminal trial, or at least maybe a mental health hold. The stupid is really strong in this one.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

The trouble with trying to section Tom will be that he isn't actually a danger to himself or others. At most he's an annoyance to the local force. It's likely that he'll be hit with an order barring him from the vicinity of Fearne Chase. I do feel the best option would be to go down the ASBO route rather than any criminal trial.

I'd also think that the police could easily justify an arrest on the grounds of breach of the peace, drop that charge, but get an interim order ready to stop Tom from doing this again. It would only need the magistrates and would mean that Tom's plan, to put his 'case' to a jury would again fail.

I think an argument can be made that someone who climbs up on the roof of a damaged house, in bad weather is, in fact, a danger to himself and others who may have to go up to arrest or rescue him. It is well known that he is almost 65 and not in the best of health. He could easily lose his footing and fall off.

Done. Anyone having anything to say on this topic can do it here;
