I can afford Palm Springs because we get free accomodation. Which has it's good and bad points. The good point is that we get free accomodation in a semi-detached right in town. Bad point is that we get free accomodation in a semi-detached right in town so my wife keeps dragging me down there. Nice enough place but I don't want to spend part of every year there.

Quite the opposite. The Beerboarding technique is essentially just a screening device. Obviously anyone who voluntarily asks for more Labatt's Blue or Molson's Canadian clearly knows nothing of any value on any topic whatever and is not worth interrogating.
