If we base it on previous form, he'll win, even if the Judge says otherwise.

From thelawpages.com - the appeal was heard and concluded, but there's no indication as to the outcome.

I would imagine that if GT had won he would be shouting it from the beer garden of the nearest Yates

Surprising that there isn't a little mob of followers there, tweeting and livestreaming as if it's a historic event. The total lack of interest or publicity says something about his credibility nowadays.

His missus posted this on F/B last night:

My appeal in Swansea Crown Court yesterday was adjourned (after 1/2 a day and 3 witnesses giving evidence) until June 14th for the CPS to present CCTV footage (which they informed the judge would have no evidential value) ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

As Inky has already been convicted we can probably say that whatever the CCTV footage is it didn't play any part in the original conviction otherwise the CPS would not be saying it was of no evidential value (assuming they did say that). On that basis it's a reasonable deduction to say that Inky has called for the CCTV footage to prove he didn't do something.

Seems like a hell of a gamble.

I'm sure it's exactly as you surmise, that he has to make someone out to be the bad guy since he's probably getting his ass kicked. He called for the tape, CPS objected on grounds it had no value.

Can we assume that no news is good news?

But not good news for Taylor, if it was good news for him, no doubt we would have heard by now.

On one of the Beat the Bailiffs Facebook sites a short while ago he said that he won his appeal at Swansea Crown Court yesterday. No details have been given so far.

Well is all we have to do is wait for his number one fan and liar Brian Gerrish to post the customary interview with his star (almost resident) guest Taylor where no doubt we will get all the facts during the autopsy of this recent case.

I would take any claims of a win with a very large pinch of salt. After all this is the same idiot that claimed over and over again that Tom had won his case and look how that turned out.

"No case to answer" - is a somewhat strange outcome, if that was indeed the case, as this was an appeal hearing isn't there usually only usually two possible outcomes. Either the appeal is allowed or dismissed. Sounds like the usual Guy Taylor BS story to me, I am sure he will have no problem posting evidence to prove his claim :sarcasmon:

I'm lost. What was the original conviction for? Assault or something?

I think the charges were:
1. Mopery with intent;
2. Consorting with known idiots; and
3. Impersonating a normal person.
