I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread just on "btbab - Beat the Bailiffs and Banks" as they appear to be worse than any other group now, including GOODF, for giving such bad advice.

I will kick it off with a message from the infamous NADINE - One of the ADMIN on btbab



NADINE is one of those admin that delete you for having a difference of opinion and is heavily into FMOTL nonsense.

Where I would say that BTAB might be slightly better than GOODF (and that is not saying much) is that they have a much harder barrier to entry, being a closed group pretty much keeps them to themselves and prevents a lot of people from finding the bad information.

Of course the flipside to this argument is that it makes it much harder to correct the misinformation once it is published and promoted. It also does not help that these places all tend to be little dictatorships where you are free to speak only what we want you to think.

The quote posted is interesting, personally I don't have an issue with people claiming state benefits, I think it a commendable aspect of our society that we are prepared to help those who have fallen on hard times and not simply cast them out. I do have an issue with those making fraudulent claims, especially when those claims involve a fabricated disability, I know people who are genuinely disabled and they do not have an easy life.

It does seem that Nadine has an attitude to fraud where it's ok, provided you are defrauding the 'right' people.

Hmm, Nadine Potter obviously does not understand who is getting "fucked over" by people who are committing benefit fraud. It would never occur to her that it is you and I who are getting "fucked over".

And those who legitimately need to claim benefits but are then placed into a system that requires them to 'prove' their condition often to individuals who do not understand what is meant by fancy medical words like 'chronic' or 'terminal'.

Its also rather plain that the attitude of benefit fraud is ok happens to tar those same disadvantaged claimants with the tag of scrounger.

A person claiming a benefit to which they are legitimately entitled due to their needs is not a scrounger. A person intentionally lying to gain such a benefit is.

I was tempted to post a response but I saw another post where someone using a legitimate means of debt clearance got seriously chewed out and then banned.
She has definitely swallowed a whole bottle of FMOTL woo.

No thanks to benefit fraudsters is the system such a pain to deal with for pretty much everything. Even something as simple as a bus pass requires a few hoops and a form. It's never OK since the costs get passed onto us, the taxpayer.

Although I can see why debt-dodging freetards don't have a problem with it.

btbab heavily promoted the direct debit scan, resulting in 1 or 2 being taken to court for it

Nadine regularly serves week long bans from Facebook, guess that is what happens when you berate and belittle people. Playing with fire having a second account but she will blame someone else for dobbing her in it, rather than accepting she has broken any Facebook terms.
