In my official capacity as the fourth born son of an amateur potato cultivation expert (I ate a lot of spuds when I was a kid) I'm pretty sure that soil-in-the-top-spuds-out-the-bottom technique wouldn't work. Potato plants have a fixed life cycle and once they've stopped producing tubers that's it. They're not a perennial.
Add to that the fact that a 2' x 2' box is about big enough for one or two plants at best I think 100lb is out by at least 95lb.

That's just quite simply not the sort of question the FOI is intended for. Do they do this deliberately, so that the refusal to answer can be cited as another aspect of the great conspiracy?
Other interesting things he's being doing includes advising people that copyright doesn't exist from the date of creation of the work but from the date that copyright is claimed: http://www.getoutofdebtfree.org/forum/v ... 9&t=102111 (not that it would make any more sense if they did get the date right, but this was a new example - to me at least - of how broken the thinking is).
