County Court judgments amount to just 1% of the 6 million debts being enforced by bailiffs each year (only 66,000 judgments are passed to the High Court Enforcement agencies each year). I will be the first to admit that the fee scale introduced by the government for the collection of these debts (which by the way, is a different fee scale to all other debts) needs to be reviewed under the forthcoming ‘Three Year Review’ (which I will be taking part in). One particular company' (and we all know who that is) have a very odd way of interpreting the wording of the regulations and use this to their advantage. I have come across the same problem many times…but in my case, the charges do get reduced because I take the correct course of action…..by making a complaint to the High Court Enforcement Officers Association (HCEOA). Whereas you may be fortunate enough to have 5 grand in your back pocket, I can assure you that many others don't. Bailiffs are charging debtors over £2,000 for one visit in these cases, on top of what is owed. The situation in these cases is worse now than it has ever been, yet nobody is doing anything about it.
You may well think my spat with Bungle is childish-I can assure you it is not. She is causing severe harm to genuine debtors all in order to fuel her campaign against a business rival. She is equally as dangerous as BTAB in my opinion.

I've been watching it but there's no further posts. Nadine and this Worrell idiot should be ashamed of themselves. The debt is a bloody magistrate court fine for goodness sake. She must know by now that bailiffs have the right to force entry to collect these debts and NO, they do NOT need a separate warrant either. Implied rights used to work because some Bailiffs were not sure what it was or what it meant. They have since worked out it has no, and never has had, any legal standing and is nothing more than the meaningless gobbledegook. The withdrawal of implied rights used to work effectively post April 2014. It assisted many weak, poor and vulnerable debtors. I used it successfully when helping debtors on many occasions.
I've posted it on BHF so people with bailiff problems will know not to do such a ridiculous thing as to as a bailiff for help in a bailiff matter.
