She's back at school teaching maths and how to get out of debt free. She hasn't paid a penny of her £72k debt which is no doubt rising by the day. She's still squatting in the house which now has a large bag of hardened cement in front of the door as a barricade against bailiffs so she must be expecting them any day. What a relaxing way to live your life. . . not.

On one of the other threads mentioned someone being evicted from their home, squatting in it, then being re-evicted. I suspect that will happen to Rekha Patel soon.

It'll be the police this time and they don't have to play quite as nicely as the HCEOs.

I don't think they have to give any notice either, so she won't have any time to organise another freetard freakshow. What I find puzzling why it is taking so long since the law changed making squatting in residential property a criminal offence squatters are generally dealt with pretty quickly, Rekha has been squatting for two months now, the only thing I can think of is nothing can be done until land registry is updated but even then that only takes a matter of weeks.

That doesn't sound like much of an obstacle. And if it is, how does she get in and out?

Next time they evict her, they ought to screw a wood sheet over all the doors so she can't get back in.

Wow, they actually tried that already? Maybe something a little more sturdy then.

Or maybe charging her with criminal damage or burglary for forcibly entering someone else's property.

If a teacher gets charged and convicted can they carry on teaching with a criminal record?

No not for state run schools their are no exceptions. In theory they could in a private school as they are not bound by the same rules for example you can teach in a private school with no formal training. But I can not see a private school employing anyone with a criminal record (knowingly).

That's a myth (about convictions preventing someone from teaching in state schools) it depends what the conviction is for, either way it has to be declared to the local authority immediately (as not notifying is a dismissable offence in itself) and they will decide if it's serious enough to warrant dismissal.

General rule of thumb is anything involving children will result in dismissal, anything else will depend, even something as serious as murder may not result in dismissal depending on the circumstances, if you sacked every teacher with a criminal conviction half the schools would close.

Don't forget parent pressure.
I suppose there may be situations where a teacher has a criminal record but the parents never get to hear about it but in this case, she has put herself in the public eye so there may be repercussions from the parents.
Also maybe from the board of governor's who may take the view that she is bringing the school into disrepute?
Don't know what an employment tribunal would make of any action to dismiss her though - if she is still competent enough as a teacher and doesn't bring her problems into the classroom I would imagine that she is pretty safe.

I would suspect regarding arresting her and getting the house back it is rather a low priority for the Police, and the resources to break into houses and arrest occupants are currently fully engaged in raiding grow ops.

He Who Knows said "she's back at school teaching maths and how to get out of debt free," which would certainly qualify as bringing problems into the classroom.

This speech was made by Rekha Patel on 10 June, the day she was evicted. She addresses some of her pupils in the audience telling them bullying is not acceptable at their level or any other level: "When there is no justice there is only force". The guy with the German accent is self-styled "Captain" Carl Hofmann, supporter of International Maritime Law - does anyone out there know of him?

No, she's just at an earlier stage. It took multiple eviction attempts, over several months, to finally get the c-frauds out of Fearn Chase. That will probably be the case here as well.
