Presidential debates

A discussion of the better things in life, including music, the arts, wine, beer, cigars, scotch, gambling the Quatloosian way, travel, sports, and many other topics. [Political and religious discussions and the like should stay off-site.]

Presidential debates

Post by Arthur Rubin »

Is it wrong of me not to watch the presidential circuses debates? I'm politically active, but I cannot imagine anything that could be said there which would affect my vote, and, even if there were, I would be informed by both the far-right and far-left press (who seem to have me on their mailing lists), and it will be on YouTube the next day (copyright or not).

I don't think this falls under the ban on politics in this group, but, if any moderator feels differently, I understand.

The only debate I watched was the video of them singing time of my life. Best part of this election season.

The best debate analysis is on SNL.

I will go with Andy on this, although I haven't and won't be watching ANY of it, there is a limit to what my stomach will bear, that and I watch so little TV as a rule anyway that I refuse to waste it on something like that.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.
