The baron has his appointment with the men in white coats tomorrow.
Additionally, he's been sending out a few default notices after his liens were cruelly ignored by the judges.
Ps - I've no clue what a bug update is, or why the waffen ss is involved.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day. Caroline from the SS is coming round while we have a long chat and I de-compartmentalise the poor woman. Anyone that spends 4 hours with me will let you know that fried Bran cells smells like fried Bacon.
Things are moving along nicely with the 8 Liens against 6 Judges.
Yes now there is 8 Liens in Progress I found two more court orders from District Judge Lateef in the paperwork pile.... Oooops

This is some of what I have been doing today. There was also the 7 Default notices for 7 liens against 7 Lawyers.
What has everybody else been doing today?

No, it does not, you insufferable prick.Baron David Ward wrote:Silence creates a binding agreement through acquiescence.
The Baron really needs to be disabused of this notion. It's the linchpin of his entire campaign of paper terrorism. Apparently un-rebutted affidavits can be used to dismiss judges:
Followed by 6 pages of CC: addresses.Deputy District Judge Masheder is making a claim that Deputy District Judge Masheder has some form of authority. We would bring to the Deputy District Judge Masheder attention an Affidavit of truth and statement of fact which was served upon the 657 MP’s in office as of the 20th Day of February 2015 and we would note that the content of this Affidavit of truth and statement of Fact has never been contested or disproved and as such stands as an agreed foundation in fact with the 657 MP’s in office.

I'm guessing the UK doesn't have strong laws against this sort of thing. This is understandable, as false liens are a new tactic. Even in the US, where the Posse Comitatus popularized the practice in the 90s, the law is still catching up.

Good luck with that. This particular notion is one of the main "tactic" in the "strategy" manual for TPs/sovruns/FOTLs. It has been around for a long while and the idiots will not recognize it as a loser argument until the gavel is hammered in the courtroom...and sometimes not even then.TheNewSaint wrote:The Baron really needs to be disabused of this notion.

I would imagine that a case could be made that he was attempting to intimidate a public official and I'm pretty sure his actions would fall within the category of 'causing harassment, alarm or distress' but it's also possible that some of the recipients of the letters have worked out the guy is actually a sandwich short of a picnic and referred the matter to social services.TheNewSaint wrote:I'm guessing the UK doesn't have strong laws against this sort of thing. Either way he guy is obviously nuts but it remains to be seen whether social services, with whom he is determined not to cooperate, take things further down the line to sectioning him or just say 'Fuck it... If he wants to be a dick and lose everything let him get on with it'.

Agreed, they're probably treating him as a harmless nut. Which I think will stop the minute one of his phony liens shows up on someone's credit report.longdog wrote:I would imagine that a case could be made that he was attempting to intimidate a public official and I'm pretty sure his actions would fall within the category of 'causing harassment, alarm or distress' but it's also possible that some of the recipients of the letters have worked out the guy is actually a sandwich short of a picnic and referred the matter to social services.

I can see no conceivable way that could ever happen.TheNewSaint wrote:Agreed, they're probably treating him as a harmless nut. Which I think will stop the minute one of his phony liens shows up on someone's credit report.
Apart from Baron Trampbeard and the lucky recipient of the lien nobody knows or cares about their existence. This isn't like the US where people can file a lien at the local courthouse... Here nobody will give a fuck. The courts would strike out any attempt to enforce one of these liens as being totally without merit and the credit reference agencies wouldn't and couldn't take any notice of them.
His 'liens' are based on the US system and that's obvious from the wording of his gibberish but under British law they're not just worthless they're not even liens in the first place.

Re: Baron David Ward
I think David is fully aware that his fantasy liens have no basis in UK law, and that if someone doesn't rebut his pathetic allegations this doesn't make them automatically guilty of anything, and there is no chance at all of them doing prison time for his fictitious allegations, or of them paying him anything, or getting bad credit ratings.
Like Chrisy Morris, David enjoys jerking people around, trying to make them squirm. Chrisy does it on video, David does it by email.

Baron Bonkers strikes me as just another in a long line of bullies of one kind or another. He just happens to be lazier in one respect and more prolific in others, but he is still a bully.

He's at least persistent. I mean, how many liens has he sent over the years?
You'd have thought he'd got the hint by now, but in his mind, he's probably only ever one step away from the combination of magic words and obscure statutes....

Sure, some people are incurable. But for those are curable, this is a very effective medicine IMO. If you can make someone understand that binding agreements cannot be created through non-response, they can easily see for themselves why many FMOTL arguments are doomed from the start. And it's easy to illustrate why this is a good principle: imagine if every piece of junk mail you got created a binding agreement. Anyone can relate to that, and see why it's a bad idea. The Observer wrote:Good luck with that. This particular notion is one of the main "tactic" in the "strategy" manual for TPs/sovruns/FOTLs. Lately, I've been thinking that you could rebut all of FMOTLism with a short list of fallacies such as this one. Less than 10 would probably be enough. Such as:
- Appeal to spam: Non-response does not create a binding agreement.
- Appeal to imperfection: Agreements cannot be voided over minor paperwork flaws. (And if it did, it would void the entire agreement; it would not let you keep the house but escape the mortgage).
- Appeal to being a special snowflake: You cannot opt out of laws by assigning a special status to yourself, or by "opting out."
- Appeal to irrelevant law: You cannot apply laws which are from other jurisdictions; superseded by subsequent law; don't exist at all; or are not applicable to your situation.
- Appeal to magic words: Phrases like "notice to principal is notice to agent", "accepted for value", and punctuating your name strangely, are of no relevance.
- Appeal to not being yourself: You cannot escape your obligations by creating a distinction between yourself and the entity that agreed to them (e.g., "straw man" arguments).

Re: Baron David Ward
Anyone with common sense and the ability to be intellectually honest. People like the Baron not so much. They simply will not listen and will just come up with more rationalizations as to why they are right. I have been on this site for nearly 16 years, and I have yet to see anyone suddenly make an U-turn and say "Gee, whiz, I was wrong." We have had a couple of protestors come in from the cold to Quatloos, but that was only after they reached the end of the line and finally realized they lost. Nearly every TP or sovrun simply just move on to the next flavor of the month or the current guru. Why? Because their ego, greed and ignorance will not let them see the light of day.TheNewSaint wrote:Anyone can relate to that, and see why it's a bad idea.
A similar thing has been done with Dan Evans' Tax Protester FAQ. But as the old saying goes just because you lead a horse to water, doesn't mean it's going to drink.TheNewSaint wrote:Lately, I've been thinking that you could rebut all of FMOTLism with a short list of fallacies such as this one

Non, no, no, the phrase is "just because you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him read", everyone knows that. People believe the things they want to believe, and no amount of proof or reason will ever change that, and then coupled with magical thinking it is pretty much bullet proof against reason.

No, no no, you are mixing it up with the corollary: "Trying to lead TPs to sanity is likely to drive you to drink."
