Outbox problems

I've got 2 messages in my Outbox. What do I have to do to send them on their way?

("Sent" is not full....)

If I am correct, they stay in your Outbox until the recipient has read them.

That makes sense.

There are a lot of things I don't understand about the forum software, even after more than a decade here.
