The Observer wrote:I am trying to recall any feudal baron in England's history who, once his lands were forfeited, resolved to carry on with his baronry from the back of a wagon. I am failing at this, but English feudal history was not one of my fortes.
Well, if a baron lost his lands, he'd often lose his life as well. Options also included monasteries and relatives with spare castle bedrooms, ie medieval couch surfing. a few lucky ones had holdings outside of England that they could retreat to. And a lot just disappear from history. I do not recall in all of my reading, of a single baron becoming a roving tinker. But hey, let's assume all of those aforementioned never heard from again types did just that, they would have lived very precarious lives, with fewer rights in many cases than peasants.

That being said, i would not be surprised if somewhere in the literature there's a story of a tinker's son who patches together a suit of armor, enters a tournament, and somehow wins. But rather than being a challenge to the class system, it is revealed that his father was a baron, so he counts as a noble. The king, or at least someone of really high rank, is impressed enough to knight the lad on the spot and give him a living. But that's a story.

It's easier once you realize that it's 97% reruns. All his packets include complete copies of previous letters saying the same thing, the same cut-and-pasted arguments over and over again, and of course many pages of CC'ed email addresses. The first few pages, and then a skim for anything new, is good enough to glean any useful information.

To Carole Nettleton in the Position of Solicitor for Fiona Bruce Solicitors LLP

Dear Carol Net
Regarding the correspondence we received from you on the 11th Day on November 2016. It is clear that these funds were not transferred to Santander (UK) plc to settle the claim from Santander as Santander has now formally repossessed 145 Slater Street. It is therefore conclusive that these funds of £7,010.99 are still in the possession of Fiona Bruce Solicitors LLP.
In the interests of candour and diplomacy we feel that it would not be appropriate for us to attend your office in person. However there is still the matter of transferring these funds. .....
I suspect Baroness Ward's lawyer will take the view that the endowment policy was expressly for the purpose of repaying the mortgage loan, so until Santander sell the house and confirm there is no shortfall, she'll hold it in client account. It must be obvious that if BvT gets hold of it, he'll immediately blow the lot on some mad scheme or hide it away, leaving Baroness Ward to deal with the ongoing recovery demands.

Not sure of the legalities here, but I suspect her reply won't have a cheque enclosed (unless she has a sense of humour and a werebank a\c).

Finally, although Baron Iveco is inspired, I think David's re-ranking to Knight of the Road requires more. Sir Iveco, or Sir TrampBus perhaps?

I always worry about people who refer to themselves in the third person, usually from a great distance.

Also, what is with the using the full name as an address, from my perspective that comes across as weird if not downright rude.

Should it not be spelt "Barren" considering the circumstances?

despite being rather quiet on his FB page, he's been littering the internet over at his Security by way of a Lien page.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/798269636907862/

It seems hes now giving up the ghost on these piles of garbage:
These will be the last Liens I will do. There is in excess of 40 Liens. All are officers of Government. 10 are Lawyers. The last 8 are Judges. This is an air tight process that cannot fail. It has not failed.
Something done 40 times over with 100% Track record cannot fail.

For one man to continue to do this is futile. It’s like trying to empty the sea with an egg cup. At this point I am DONE.
People bitch and scream all day long about the government being corrupt. But then do nothing. One man cannot change the world. From this point onwards it is down to everybody ells. It’s not rocket science. It’s not difficult. There are 934 members in this group that have done nothing in two years.
What are you waiting for?? If not you then WHO?... If not now then WHEN?...
Superman is NOT coming to save you..........

Rather amusingly, albeit not surprisingly, he's been chucking out Liens at the judge(s) who callously applied the law correctly.

So our tinker baron is going to live in a 7.5 ton truck with no motor. The mind cringes at all of the problems with this that the Baron has not carefully considered.

No "MOT" .. that's the annual roadworthiness certificate (used to stand for Ministry of Transport now just says "MOT Test Certificate" on the document).

Ah, pardon my ignorance. Then I guess the baron is going to become a knight of the road and challenge the government over whether he needs to have a certified vehicle?

I think more likely NO consideration, careful or otherwise. It does sound like he really is thinking he's going to turn himself in to the tinker baron of the road now. I wonder how he thinks he's going to get by on the licensing and insurance on something like that, I should think it would be expensive.

I wonder if he's now rueing his obstinacy / idiocy, homeless, penniless, no income and living in a hostel - not how I'd want to end up. :(

If Baron Boring thinks there is actually "news" on Faceplant, he is even more deluded than I thought. Lots of gossip, innuendo, fantasy, and flat out lying, Baron Boring example in chief, but.... on the other hand, maybe his "enemies" have succeeded in blocking him from what they are doing, as in their are tired of listening to his ravings.
