Would you say that this case proves that Lawful Rebellion under Article 61 works?AndyPandy wrote:He borrowed the money and paid up..... My hero !!

And just as the penny's dropping for people, David (not one to miss a trick) Robinson is asking for donations- he's seeing his potential cash cow about to dry up and is eager to fleece them before it's too late.

I am fluent in Rebellionese, the above quote translates thus:At this point i was returned to my cell and told i would be transferred to prison the following day at 4pm. It was at this point i decided that i could not do this to my wife and children. Had it been just me i would have gone to prison for what would have been 13 days. But it wasn't just me i had to think about.
"Fuck.....this shit's just got real....I might be brave but I ain't that fuckin' brave.....I ain't goin' to prison for no fucker.....fuck that. I know....
I will use the "wife and kids" excuse.....that'll do it....although I'm a coward I will still be looked upon as a hero"

Clever move by Mr (the revolution starts when I can afford it) R to post his bank account details on a public forum..... NOT!

He hired a solicitor to launch an appeal, a real, non-fake internet actor, but a real, legally trained, qualified, practicing lawyer? I wonder what the solicitor will say when he hears Ollies theories, I am sure David can explain it to him, if Ollie can't. I am sure the cost of the solicitor and any other costs he has along the way was worth it for Ollie, It really doesn't seem like he has plenty of money to throw at this, perhaps he will realize in hindsight that it's better to pay up, when you are supposed to, and not follow the advice of untrained, uneducated internet gurus pretending to be legal scholars.

A duty Solicitor will have been allocated to him, no payment as they are free to any defendant if you wish to use the services of a trained advocate.NYGman wrote:He hired a solicitor to launch an appeal, a real, non-fake internet actor, but a real, legally trained, qualified, practicing lawyer? All they would have done ( by the sounds of it) is make sure the payment was received by the Court and that release papers were issued before they carted him off.

Ouch....Southend Council has since revealed that Mr Pinnock has been released from prison after a family member paid off the council tax debt.

Re: "practical lawful dissent" fmotl advisory group
I think Ollie may have inadvertently stumbled on the truth:
I posit, that if he could get enough people, that would support the cause enough to be imprisoned, then he could form a political party, and have all those people vote people in to power that supported A61. Once those thousands have elected enough people to government, then they can change the laws and abolish council tax, if they fee like it. So I suggest they get going on forming a party, or find an existing one that may agree with their views, and go from there. I hear Crissy Morris found BNP, prehaps they can help here too...Unless there are thousands of us all prepared to go to prison, we cannot win

And this is exactly what would pass for "lawful rebellion." But they don't want to spend the time, money and energy to try to convince people to their cause.NYGman wrote:I posit, that if he could get enough people, that would support the cause enough to be imprisoned, then he could form a political party, and have all those people vote people in to power that supported A61.
