Isn't Russ a Tommy Crawford supporter also?
Could next weeks "wake up" meeting end in a very one sided brawl?
Just let me get my head around this;
Dave doesn't want people Promoting fmotl tactics (and tries to distance himself from it), but is going to do a presentation at a freeman BS talk?

Crab Bait saying he owns not just £31k in business rates but also a further £11k (which isn't currently a part of the bankruptcy proceedings), which from memory is addressed to him and his wife, is he risking her Liberty (joint and severally liable) as well as his own ?

I was tempted to delete (actually move to super sekrit archive, we delete nothing) and someone else may. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and leaving it.

No, I follow this site occasionally and was aware what had been said elsewhere. Just giving the heads up. It's someone who posts on here who's saying it.Gregg wrote: And you were so concerned that you found our site, registered and posted this to warn him?

I think business rates and the other debt will be purely Civil matters so no loss of liberty at risk.AndyPandy wrote:Crab Bait saying he owns not just £31k in business rates but also a further £11k (which isn't currently a part of the bankruptcy proceedings), which from memory is addressed to him and his wife, is he risking her Liberty (joint and severally liable) as well as his own ?

So business rates don't fall under the Council Tax regulations?ArthurWankspittle wrote:I think business rates and the other debt will be purely Civil matters so no loss of liberty at risk.AndyPandy wrote:Crab Bait saying he owns not just £31k in business rates but also a further £11k (which isn't currently a part of the bankruptcy proceedings), which from memory is addressed to him and his wife, is he risking her Liberty (joint and severally liable) as well as his own ?
So unless the second £11k amount is Council Tax, the only danger of imprisonment may be if they add to or issue a separate, joint bankruptcy petition for the £11k and neither one of them turns up at Court, then they may do a jimmywesq 18 hour stretch ?

I think that if the business is a company then it's the business that's liable, if the business is a sole trader then the person is liable. If correct, this would mean that a sole trader could be put into prison, but a company could only be put into administration.AndyPandy wrote:So business rates don't fall under the Council Tax regulations?

The business premises in question were a nightclub, most business premises are leased and the majority of landlords require you to sign the lease not in a Company name but in your own name, which has the effect of making the lease holder both personally liable for the rental payments and the business rates.Forsyth wrote:I think that if the business is a company then it's the business that's liable, if the business is a sole trader then the person is liable. and that statement makes it seem like all he would have had to do was 25 days and he would have been in the clear but he couldn't even do that. lol
I would bet a monet would have cost more than what is owed in tax.

Quiet the honour! I'm enjoying my holiday in Croatia and Montenegro reading that, so at some stage I've had to legitimately get a passport, and pu chase really currency and also abide by law, so comes as quiet a shock that I've hid it from my conscious self?
But thanks for the heads up! And chance of a link or screen shot?

'Peterbard' posts on here as [redacted by mod], and no doubt a few more.

I don't think anyone in his right mind thinks that anyone posting here other than (the former user known as) Tuco is a FMOTL, and Tuco denied being a FMOTL, so outing him as a FMOTL is fair game.wserra wrote:If you want to out someone, do it in a PM.

[Edited to add] As far as I know, we don't have a rule against obviously fake outing, or reporting on obviously absurd "outing". (Wikipedia does have such rules....)

It wasn't that I had a problem with, Arthur. It was pointing a finger at a current Q poster as the culprit. That's what I redacted.
