Who are the parties involved in that conversation? I don't see how anyone can tell the Police not to bother arresting someone who has a warrant outstanding unless it is a court cancelling or modifying the warrant. Have we reached the pretend judge/pretend sheriffs/pretend marshals stage that they have in the US?

Alright you beautiful beings!! I was arrested for not giving my details to a constable! I diddnt stand under him and I told him the road traffic management act diddnt apply to me a man, then I was unarrested when I informed them they are liable for unlawful arrest and kidnap, I declined to sign their ticket so it'll be interesting to see what happens. However my boss at my new job has just found out and it looks like I'm going to be sacked today!!! Crazy things happening to me ATM only been there a mnth!!

My suspicion is that he'll ignore the summons, and ramp whatever initiated it further, and whine, and that since he's verified to his boss that he is an idiot and a contentious one at that, that he will shortly be, if not already, unemployed. Truly is lower level Darwin Award material.
