money grubbing Flynns
I am not sure if this belongs here but this seems to be a new low in money grubbing tactics. Perhaps a bit more honest but still pretty low.

There's this really nice house I saw.

Unfortunately, its just a tad out of my price-range, but if you send me a donation so I can have my dream-home, I'll engrave your name in a brick and put it in the driveway.
$1,000,000 = el Grande Amigo
$500,000 = True Friend
$250,000 = Bosom Buddy
$100,000 = Well-wisher
$50,000 = Old Chum
$25,000 = Sidekick
Thanks for your help for this worthy cause!

This is why I could never become a Constitutional Ranger - why puruse a career that will never allow you save up a measly 10% down payment and qualify for a laon on a property only $175,000?

At least they didn't claim that the donation would be tax-deductible.
And isn't it going to be a long commute from their present home in New Mexico to the new "Center for Constitutional Awareness" in Maine?

Re: money grubbing Flynns
Maybe they should consider a certain home in New Hampshire. It could be bought cheap at a tax sale. Looks like a castle! Said property is not only vacant but may contain land mines that were missed by the Feds.aitchel wrote:I am not sure if this belongs here but this seems to be a new low in money grubbing tactics. It'll be worth it -- the Maine lobsters are better than the ones in New Mexico.LPC wrote:At least they didn't claim that the donation would be tax-deductible.

The Flynns apparently preach that if a defendant in a collection action relies solely on the state and federal constitutions, then the plaintiff can never succeed. They may also throw in some common law nonsense.
There are apparently people who allege that this system actually works, and those folks provide personal testimony.
1. The testimonials are fake.
2. The testimonials do not tell what happens when the other shoe drops.
3. The successful folks are so poor and so nuts that the collection lawyers blow them off as too much trouble for no gain.
Or -- ALL THREE!
