Going by Nine Lives Media's other shows that they have done they seem to make stitch up documentaries where they treat the protagonist like a comedy stooge and make them look like an idiot, Not that it will be too difficult with Chrisy.
With Chrisy as their star, he'll provide LOTS of fodder for mauck making.

Nine Lives Media has worked pretty hard on this one. The documentary's been in production for at least a year as it was first mentioned when filming Rekha Patel's eviction in June 2016. At that time the working title was "Bailiff Busters" - interesting the subtle shift to "Battling the Bailiffs". If they've followed Morris for a year I wonder if they've also covered his attempt to become a BNP Heybridge Parish councillor, his stalking of a FB detractor by taking photos of his house, his criminal damage to an Odeon Cinema toilet all caught on film (see links further up from Penny Wise), his online threats and bullying of same FB detractor, his criminal conviction for obstructing a bailiff, walking out of Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court mid-session (which won't help his Crown court appeal), using his 5 year old boy as a human shield at some Essex court, the 2015 film of him putting dog-shite on a car door handle. Channel 4 viewers will no doubt see him as the attention-seeking, far right Essex thug he is - not the Corbyn-supporting, underdog-rescuer he currently purports to be.

So this is not a new show and is essentially just a re-edit of the show Bailiff Busters that was scheduled for last October as part of the cutting edge series but was pulled three weeks before broadcast due to editorial concerns. I wonder if they have even bothered to shoot any supplemental material or if it's just a case of we've got it in the can might as well put it out to fill a hole in the schedule.
I can't find anywhere that says it was scheduled for last October and pulled at the last minute, is there any evidence or is this speculation?
The original "Bailiff Busters" was a working title and the Ch4 blurb announced last summer was this:
"Bailiff Busters (w/t)
Meet the new grass roots campaigners with a mission to prevent people being evicted by standing up to bailiffs. As a result of the housing crisis, over a thousand people a week are losing their homes. This documentary follows the eviction resistance campaigners dedicated to trying to keep families in their homes by stopping the bailiffs in their tracks."
Production Company: Nine Lives Media, Director: Colin Stone, Executive Producer: Ricardo Pollack and Cat Lewis.
It seeems the film company was still following Morris and Crawfraud around last December (the time of the Heybridge parish election), but according to Morris's post a couple of days ago, certain folks have spat their dummies out because they ain't getting the same airtime as him. That is, Crawfraud and others mentioned above by Letissier. After all, that's what it's all about...attention seeking.

If the documentary was completed before the December parish election for Heybridge then it is a very outdated documentary indeed. It will not have the story finale of Morris being convicted last month for obstructing a court enforcement officer unless there is a written line at the end of the film explaining this. For Nine Lives Media to say they have 'investigated' the BNP thing thoroughly (ie they have merely checked his signature which they admit varies) is disappointing as there are photos out there of him clearly posing with other BNP-ers. Doubt that was photo-shopped. It's just too inconvenient to include in the film.

Note: Additionally Richard Perry, the BNP’s Eastern regional organiser, is standing in the Maldon constituency but will not have the BNP name on the ballot paper: his party description is ‘Fighting Unsustainable Housing Because We Care’, which is among the BNP’s registered descriptions with the Electoral Commission.

I actually don't believe Nine Lives Media when they say both they AND Channel 4 have investigated this throroughly. It's in this 10-year-old fledgling company's interest to keep unwanted stuff out of this as it might mean the film being pulled. I think Channel 4's compliance dept would be very interested to hear about the political leanings of the main subject of this documentary. “I’m probably on every bailiff’s dartboard around the country,” boasts anti-eviction campaigner Chrisy Morris. He’s a bundle of pent-up energy who spends his spare time travelling the country opposing attempts by burly bruisers to force people from their homes.
In one encounter we see Morris get himself arrested trying to stop a maths teacher in Derbyshire being turfed out of her house. In another he jeers at a retreating bailiff, “You come here all Bodie and Doyle and now you’re leaving all Laurel and Hardy!” It’s those moments where humour wins out over aggro that make the film, but its portrait of lives fraying under pressure is harder to take.
Summary
Documentary about the campaigners on a mission to prevent people being evicted by standing up to bailiffs. The housing crisis has resulted in more than 50 families a week being evicted. Filmed over nine months, this film follows 42-year-old boxing trainer Chrissy Morris and his friends who are battling the system, spending their spare time travelling around the country and stopping the bailiffs in their tracks so that desperate families can keep a roof over their heads.
Channel 4 viewers will no doubt see him as the attention-seeking, far right Essex thug he is - not the Corbyn-supporting, underdog-rescuer he currently purports to be.
