If you can't even organize a pub crawl how do you ever expect to run a revolution??? I mean really.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Now you are just encouraging Burnaby to lead the next revolution, since he has successfully organized a fine number of pub crawls.notorial dissent wrote:If you can't even organize a pub crawl how do you ever expect to run a revolution??? I mean really.

"1; The first form of law is Corporate Commercial Law (1st Cestui Que Vie Trust).
2: The Second form of law is Maritime and Trust Law (2nd Cestui Que Vie Trust).
3: The Third form of law is Talmudic and Roman Cult Law (3rd Cestui Que Vie Trust of Baptism)".
Possibly a bit off topic but since this stuff is still appearing ( I got this from the notalegalexpert page linked above) I was wondering if a thread that works on debunking this particular flavour of nonsense would be an idea.
A couple of minutes reading the original act( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/aep/Cha2/18-19/11 ) reveals its clear intention and utility. No mention of trusts created or any of the other nonsense. How on earth did the whole basis of the strawman, legal name, birth certificate, etc, come to spring from this simple and innocuous piece of legislation, legislation that lasted almost 300 years before repeal and slightly modernised replacement.
Was there an original misreading that became expanded in every new misreading. Maybe some of m'learned friends can help?

For someone who professes to be an expert in "ALL" legal matters, his spelling is appalling.
What the hell is an Indevidul?
If his grasp of English is that bad, how good is his legal mind?

As an adopted son of Hull I regret to say that the stories told about Yee Oldee Whitee Hartee (a pub from which I was banned for life under a previous management for the heinous crime of moving a chair from one table to another) are almost certainly untrue although I still repeat them as true to tourists. They do serve a nice pint mind you and they have a human skull behind the bar.JimUk1 wrote:I'm sure only Oliver Cromwell has beign successful at doing both. Which still puts you light years ahead of that pack of genetic failures. Besides, organizing a good pub crawl is an epic talent, at least in my view.Burnaby49 wrote:Sadly that is the area of expertise that I can brag about the most.The Observer wrote:Now you are just encouraging Burnaby to lead the next revolution, since he has successfully organized a fine number of pub crawls.notorial dissent wrote:If you can't even organize a pub crawl how do you ever expect to run a revolution??? Re: Sovrun Paraleguls
That's the problem: you spent a couple minutes actually reading the act. These people don't. They uncritically believe whatever they're told, and these arguments circulate and mutate much in the manner of urban legends.Siegfried Shrink wrote: A couple of minutes reading the original act( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/aep/Cha2/18-19/11 ) reveals its clear intention and utility. To be sure, somebody was the first to try the Cestui Qii Vie Act to get out of paying their bills or whatever. But that's like trying to find out who started the hook-on-the-hand campfire story.
I recall a prior thread that speaks to your question. I'll try to dig it up for you when I'm not on my dinky cell phone.

I've downed a pint at Ye Olde White Hart a number of times but can't say that I noticed a skull.As an adopted son of Hull I regret to say that the stories told about Yee Oldee Whitee Hartee (a pub from which I was banned for life under a previous management for the heinous crime of moving a chair from one table to another) are almost certainly untrue although I still repeat them as true to tourists. Re: Sovrun Paraleguls
His early (since deleted) posts on the old Goofy were to raise naive questions about very straightforward road traffic offences, followed by some suggestions of very ill advised handling that he'd already set in train. Then magically a year later he's gone from "clueless in any legal matter" to "expert in all", although declining to answer questions about how his road traffic issues had panned out.JimUk1 wrote:http://www.expertinalllegalmatters.com/meet-the-team

It's behind the small bar that's on the left as you come through the front door.Burnaby49 wrote:I've downed a pint at Ye Olde White Hart a number of times but can't say that I noticed a skull.As an adopted son of Hull I regret to say that the stories told about Yee Oldee Whitee Hartee (a pub from which I was banned for life under a previous management for the heinous crime of moving a chair from one table to another) are almost certainly untrue although I still repeat them as true to tourists. If I remember correctly (I've been to Hull many, many times but not for the past eight years) I used to turn to the right when I went in. But I could be confusing the White Hart with Ye Olde Black Boy.longdog wrote:It's behind the small bar that's on the left as you come through the front door.Burnaby49 wrote:I've downed a pint at Ye Olde White Hart a number of times but can't say that I noticed a skull.As an adopted son of Hull I regret to say that the stories told about Yee Oldee Whitee Hartee (a pub from which I was banned for life under a previous management for the heinous crime of moving a chair from one table to another) are almost certainly untrue although I still repeat them as true to tourists. Re: Sovrun Paraleguls
No... I think you have the right place. In the White Hart the main bar is on the right as you enter but there's a smaller bar in the room to the left. The small bar isn't usually open. The Black Boy is the one with the dark passageway and a front and rear bar both on the right.Burnaby49 wrote:If I remember correctly (I've been to Hull many, many times but not for the past eight years) I used to turn to the right when I went in. Incidentally if you haven't been to the old town for a few years there are now several new bars open doing excellent ales and The Sailmakers now has a black Labrador in a red bow tie to meet and greet customers. His name's Toby

Re: Sovrun Paraleguls
I'm considering Hull for a future trip. Apart from nostalgia (I actually have some for Hull) I found a few years back that I'd somehow missed the Polar Bear, an absolute classic pub. The Polar Bear is a Grade II heritage listed establishment included in the bible.
https://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/h ... ?pubid=581
This is the bible, no irreverent comments please. I don't want to trigger a religious argument;
https://www.amazon.ca/Britains-Best-Rea ... a+heritage
So I have to rectify that blunder. CAMRA is also a fan of both the White Hart and the Black Boy;
https://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/h ... tail=brief
https://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/h ... tail=brief
But no mention of a skull. CAMRA sometimes loses track of its priorities.
