Now I can't get the image of a blue pot smoking Guy, also with obligatory beer in hand, out of my head. Must go for a drive and clear the mind.

The Chong of Cheech and Chong was a Vancouver boy. At least he was very active here in my teen years in the sixties. Had a popular group called Bobby Taylor and the Vancouvers. Their prior name, given below, was somewhat more controversial. 'Fading Away', my favorite of their songs, came out in 1967 just when I was starting at the University of British Columbia.
By the early 1960s, Chong was playing guitar for a Calgary soul group called The Shades. The Shades moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where the band's name changed to "Little Daddy & The Bachelors". They recorded a single, "Too Much Monkey Business" / "Junior's Jerk". Together with bandmember Bobby Taylor, Chong opened a Vancouver nightclub in 1963. Formerly the Alma Theatre, they called it "Blue Balls". They brought in the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, which had never been to Vancouver before. Although Little Daddy & The Bachelors built up a small following, things soured when they went with Chong's suggestion and had themselves billed as "Four Niggers and a Chink"[9] (or, bowing to pressure, "Four N's and a C") before taking on the moniker Bobby Taylor & the Vancouvers.[9]

I politely beg to differ. Although I don't particularly believe he is one of our shining lights he is an Alberta boy born and bred even though he achieved his early fame in Lotus Land. :D
Chong was born at the University of Alberta Hospital[citation needed] in Edmonton, Alberta, on May 24, 1938,[2] and given the name Thomas B. Kin Chong at birth.[3][4] His mother was Lorna Jean (née Gilchrist),[2] a waitress of Scots-Irish ancestry,[5] and his father was Stanley Chong,[2] a Chinese truck driver who immigrated to Canada from China in the 1920s.[citation needed] The senior Chong had first lived with an aunt in Vancouver after arriving in Canada.[6][7][8]
As a youth, Tommy Chong moved with his family to Calgary, settling in a conservative neighbourhood Chong has referred to as "Dog Patch". He has said that his father had "been wounded in World War II, and there was a veterans' hospital in Calgary. He bought a $500 house in Dog Patch and raised his family on $50 a week."
Aside - the neighbourhood in Calgary is now undergoing gentrification. Although originally a prototypical conservative working class community it's now a very nice place to live within biking distance of downtown and some very undervalued properties for the savvy investor.

What do ETA and FCOL mean?

If you can view the videos, you could use a video downloader to save them then post them somewhere else. I occasionally do this with YT videos if I think they may vanish when the poster comes to his senses and they are particularly amusing.

ETA = Edited To Add.

FCOL = For Crying Out Loud.

As for downloading the vids neither of the downloader add-ons I use can capture video off Facebook.

In summary there are three videos.

1) Idiot gets stopped by cops for reasons not particularly clear. It might be using a phone while driving or might not I'll come back to that later. Idiot refuses to cooperate or identify himself while spouting the usual 'statutes aren't laws' shite.

2) More cops arrive. Idiot remains uncooperative with more 'statutes aren't laws' shit and 'are you acting under your oath?' Cop eventually tells idiot he's being charged with using a mobile phone while driving (although there's no evidence for that in the video it may be true) and... very amusingly... he's also charged with taking the vehicle without the owner's consent as he won't give his name. Idiot still refuses to get out of car.

3) One of the many cops now present smashes the near side rear window and gets in car. Idiot says "I'm getting out". Video ends.

Brilliant!

I left a comment on the flat earth society's YouTube channel once, asking about thier new venture into putting a rocket into orbit.

I commented if they did put a rocket into space then they had proved the earth is a spheroid as it requires Newtons escape velocity therory, which essentially only works because the earth of round, and therefore debunked themselves before they had even sent back images.....

The flat earth society "loved" my comment!

Truly dumb people!

Isn't it just another remake of a Classic Sovrin' Idjiot traffic stop video, but with different actors playing the lead, and a new location and props? I have seen this type of video before, and at always has the same ending, but I have to admit, some of the "Actors" are much more entertaining than others. I do wonder who gets the royalties from using this script?

One classic is where the people in the car start praying for divine intervention with amazing results

No, just kidding, no results at all.

Another is some simpleton whining "You've broken my window again".

I think the woman who bleats "Article 4 free inhabitant" as she is dragged out, but gets a bit foul mouthed as she is handcuffed is my favourite.

I have not seen any new ones in this genre for some time, and relatively few from the UK.

The shouts of "I do not consent" interrupted repeatedly by howls of pain and the distinct sound of a taser are like porn to me. That is one reason that fewer UK videos get the airplay to make them more than a watered down knockoff, Bobbies don't carry tasers.

I would have to agree with you there. definitely much satisfaction derived from watching the Tasering of Sovrun Idjiots who do not consent. Can never get enough of that, it is the R Rated version. I agree UK Idjiots, while entertaining, their video is the PG Version.

For those in the UK, as this is a UK thread, replace PG with 12A and R with 18.

The best British one is from Scotland IIRC. The cop punches out the quarterlight with something and in the same motion reaches through the hole and withdraws the keys out of the ignition.
