This seems a fine plan, but I do have to reluctantly mention a few small snags

Since it is arguable that she has suffered more than most people on Earth and is one of the most deserving, but I do foresee some unseemly squabbling among the others about who gets what. With 4 powers of ten in the compensation scale, let us call them the A to D lists. In the unlikely event that the lay jurors all agree (is there a provision for majority verdicts?) that Steve McCrae (Expert in FA) is a D lister and Sabine McNiell is a B lister, just how happy is E in FA going to be about getting 100 times less than someone else, and what snappy legal remedies will he come up with to get his fair share?

There may be an actual shortage of money to pay them all out, should they decide that to keep things fair all should have the maximum award of 1,000 million, so I suggest to them payouts should be in lotus leaves, or lous, for short, and deserving recipients be named 'lousers'.
Of course, to simplify distribution, Neelu should design and issue the format of the new notes and just e-mail the design to each deserving recipient, who could then print out their allotment of lous. To avoid a countrywide paper shortage the minimum denomination should be 100,000 lous and all lousers should be willing to trade with each other in this new blood, sweat and tears money.

I think my simple suggestions would lead to a new era of peace and prosperity for all, and freedom from the banks who would be forbidden from handling,depositing or transferring lous, something that I have a feeling they would be willing to agree to.

I am really grateful for the compilation of the list; although I am familiar by name and reputation with a fair number of them, adding many more vastly increases the number of people I can feel less crazy than, a rich source of smug self satisfaction and that's hard to find in my declining years and decrepit state.

If Neelu had an actual defence solicitor/barrister instead of a struck-off bonkers conspiracy theory spouting self-styled “Equity Lawyer” the question of whether or not she is fit to plead or to stand trial might be something the defence would raise.

Or, if she produces her usual delusional behaviour when dealing with anyone she considers to be in authority, maybe the Judge will want to consider that question anyway and detain her for assessment.

Who knows, maybe Neelu will finally be put on the road to getting the help she so clearly needs whether she likes it (she won’t) or not.

People with a much better grip on reality than Neelu appears to possess have been sectioned, but that’s not possible unless the patient is an imminent danger to themself or others and Neelu doesn’t seem to fit into that category. So Neelus are left to get on with it while their lives fall apart until they finally get dragged into court and it’s clear something has to be done because of doubt whether they’re fit to plead or even really understand what’s going on in the “real world” rather than the delusional one they live in.
