I think the phrase I remember is "put a bee in their ear and showed them the door". I can't imagine the poor dears were best pleased with the short shrift they got and lack of cowering respect from the Civil servant for their CLC order. I guess LARPing isn't all it was cut out to be.

SCRA offices will be quite secure. I think there's a reasonable chance that they didn't get beyond waiting at reception before some no-nonsense lady told them it was all rubbish and to take a hike.

I have a sort of fantasy view of them being invited into an interview room by someone with a straight face who wrote down their names and addresses, checked their CLC ID cards, maybe took a copy of their court order. Then being told it's all rubbish and to take a hike.
