Re: Robert 'Crab Bait' White consents to losing his houses
I do not think he ever had a nice house. Still, he could be bemoaning his fate and missing his fairly crummy house in a fairly crummy place compared with many places except Hull. Or South Shields. Or quite a few places, now I comw to think of it.
Sheerness is OK for boaty people with the Medway and the Thames handy
and the Swale is a wetland habitat if you like birds and mud.

It was up for sale in 2010. Looks a reasonably-kept property (or at least it was 8 years ago).

I think he's said that he bought it in 2010.mufc1959 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 3:27 pmIt was up for sale in 2010. Looks a reasonably-kept property (or at least it was 8 years ago).

Hull is like Bloomsbury when put next to Sheerness.Siegfried Shrink wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 3:13 pm I do not think he ever had a nice house. Still, he could be bemoaning his fate and missing his fairly crummy house in a fairly crummy place compared with many places except Hull...

Re: Robert 'Crab Bait' White consents to losing his houses
I've spent a lot of time in Hull, most recently during the past summer and I wouldn't rate it even close to Wolverhampton, Hartlepool, Burnley, Nelson, Bolton, or a half dozen other places in Lancashire I've personally experienced. I plan to revisit Hull but I'll never go near Hartlepool again.

Oh pretty please! We'll be needing lots of video coverage for that, too. He's rigged a shotgun to the front door, pointing at his own head etc.

These freeman eviction mobs certainly don't turn out like they used to. Same old tired arguments as well.

I found Mr White's page but no video as above, just some woman named Swallow (made me think swallow or spit, don't know why) from yesterday with someone unattractive named Dean.

What was that lackadaisical charade all about? Not surprising that people think they can scoff at a court order, really. I know the HCEO's will sort it out later, but that's not the point.

I assume the 'bailiffs' in these circumstances either take possession unchallenged after the former owner has already left or walk away. Contested possessions are best left to the HCEOs with back-up from plod.Hercule Parrot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:01 pmWhat was that lackadaisical charade all about? Wow, they really do not make eviction videos like they used to. The baliffs will get paid anyway and the fossils can stand around for a while then have a nice cup of tea.
No blood, no arrests, hardly a raised voice. Bring on the High Court Enforcemet Officers, preferably with a TV crew, preferably from the BBC.

Yes, but that's really not the point. It doesn't matter who turns up to execute a court order, it is still a court order.longdog wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:20 pmI assume the 'bailiffs' in these circumstances either take possession unchallenged after the former owner has already left or walk away. There was something awful British about that video. Stand around, drink tea, inoffensive.

Whether or not it's the point isn't the point. It's reality as far as I can see. Take peaceful possession or leave it to the experts.Hercule Parrot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 8:48 pm Yes, but that's really not the point. That looks very much like me if I did not have a resident barber to trim my hair and beard.
