Sounds like a charity. Whether it is one of the FOTL Facebook page based LARPing ones or a genuine one like Citizens Advice or Shelter I would be curious to know.

Surely she'd name it then, as that length of voluntary work would be a good route into work.Sounds like a charity.
Sounds more like play law than real law to me, especially when put together with 'Bailiff matters', but IANALContractual Obligation that may have arisen as a Breach.

Unconvincingly long time though. How many charities dealing with bailiffs would have anyone under 18 volunteering for them? Not saying it is impossible, just unlikely. Puts he at 26 ish or older which seems odd if you were going for a law degree, as you would do law and some other stuff at college, then a law degree which would have you aged 21.John Uskglass wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 2:54 pmSurely she'd name it then, as that length of voluntary work would be a good route into work.Sounds like a charity.

Completely random, as was how I ended up finding this. Here's someone posting about UCC and liens etc on a UK legal web site. The last few comments amused me ...

WHERE are the liens in the U.K. publicly recorded? ! ?! ?!?!?!?! Is your answer "they are not?" if they are not, just tell me. But how do you put your lien first in line and get a date that the lien was filed, for priority of claims??? I'm sure U.K. also follows Uniform Commercial Code, it's all over the world. Please give a better answer, for a good rating thank you.

All Charges on Land are recorded at the Land Registry
but everything in commerce is based on Maritime law, i.e. law of the sea which is different than law of the land. You have no Commercial Registry in all of the U.K. ?? Can you show me a copy of the forms that you use to record a lien in the U.K. please?

Sorry - are we talking about a ship here?

Yes. Whether they can get on the plane without accusing the passport control bloke of working for the Illuminati/Tufton St/the RC Church/Neela Berry's Child Eating Cult/whoever is another matter.

They probably fasten on the word "uniform", and use it to confirm their delusions that the word means that the UCC is used throughout the world.Dr. Caligari wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 10:27 pmWhere do people get these idiotic notions?I'm sure U.K. also follows Uniform Commercial Code, it's all over the world.

A small but highly entertaining percentage of them haven't even looked up what the letters "UCC" stand for, and think it's the Universal Commercial Code.Pottapaug1938 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 12:35 am They probably fasten on the word "uniform", and use it to confirm their delusions that the word means that the UCC is used throughout the world.

No, "Uniform" as in Navy dress uniforms! This proves it's all admiralty law! There you have it, proof.KickahaOta wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 12:53 amA small but highly entertaining percentage of them haven't even looked up what the letters "UCC" stand for, and think it's the Universal Commercial Code.Pottapaug1938 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 12:35 am They probably fasten on the word "uniform", and use it to confirm their delusions that the word means that the UCC is used throughout the world.

Don't you know Wikipedia is a well known disinformation tool of the powers that be?
Only sheeple believe anything on there whereas the woke use more reliable sources like prisonplanet, YouTube, David Icke and the opinions of rappers, anorexic clothes horses and presidents who are former reality TV stars.
How else do you think they learn that the earth is flat, vaccines give you autism and GcMAF cures all known diseases?

Facebook= 100% factually devoid “truth” that is for woke people because you mate who hasn’t studied in any field found out from his mate in the pub that currency is just made up by some Jewish cabal who are responsible for white genocide in the late Neolithic period and Stone henge was actually built by ancient aliens who had predicted this white genocide so left the planet for mars.NYGman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 6:41 pmAh, but if it wasn't posted on my facebook feed by my Woke friends, how do I really know it is true?MiddlesexFinn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 6:24 pm This may be leaning a bit too close to politics, but...

I hate Facebook, for the exact reason above, most people post nonsensical crap.

The problem with "thinking" in this context is that "thinking" equates to repeating something you read on the innerwebs, heard on youtoobey, or heard from your bestie down at the pub, so there is/was actually NO "thinking" involved anywhere in the process. In this context "thinking" is really regurgitation, whole and unchanged from another source who got it from another source. They've completely cut the whole "thinking" bit out of the equation.

Re: Random Freemanesque Babblings II: Back to the Futile
OT: On Facebook to keep up with old Friends and Family, but do think it is a bit of a cesspit. In the same vein as smart people falling for FMOTL or Soverin' theories to detax themselves, I see intelligent people I know and may be related to in some instances, posting factually dishonest Meme's as fact. The oddest is people posting against their interests without knowing (eg. My extremely pro-zionist, pro-Jewish friend posting antisemitic Soros screeds, and anti-Globalist/Banks/Rothschild Memes sometimes reposting known anti-semites, it's a strange world on Facebook). The constant distrust of any government in power, along with criticism of the opposition boggles the mind. Trusting Facebook posts, and obscure unattributed, undates, un-cited articles that feed into their existing mindset, only adds fuel to the fire. Between these type of posts, and the flood of "Epstein didn't kill himself" Memes I am currently wading through, makes Facebook a horrible place. If it were a country on its own, I wouldn't visit. I have learned to ignore it, for the most part, or though it does give me insight into that mindset, and I do admit to scanning their posts when something is in the news, to try to get the Woke view. I did try to engage once, as a student of history, I "erroneously" pointed out that the Nazi Party, while having the word "Socialist" in its name, was anything but, and that to call Hitler a Socialist wasn't technically correct. Apparently, I, and many other legal/political studies majors, didn't understand the definition of Socialism. I have learned my lesson. Unless accompanied by a MEME, or with a link to an obscure website, it isn't true. I should probably stop here, as I don't want to stray into politics, and this isn't meant as a political post, just to highlight the issues with Facebook, and the Woke culture it seems to support.

I doubt any of these “truthers” would be openly welcome in The Lyceum, back in the day.
The whole idea of investigation and reflection in debate isn’t something the YouTube truthers understand.
