I live a far more opulent lifestyle. I have a basement.

Ironically the last time I went to NYC on vacation, I got sick on the flight and spent the whole time self quarantined.

Springtime out here is not your first robin, it's the first gopher (Richardson's ground squirrel) - saw my first ones today

No cases of zombie virus around here, just the usual complaints from the crazies about city folk emptying out our stores or wandering the streets chanting about their need for toilet paper.

Considering the intelligence of these complainers hopefully they will self immolate themselves in this fashion:

Re: Springtime in NYC
I've been working from home for over a week and, so far, I find that it's not too bad.
My wife and I have a son with several disabilities here with us. School has been closed for two weeks (the first week was Spring Break and this past week was because of the virus), and it really helps to have two adults here to take care of him. As it stands now, school is not scheduled to re-open until mid-April. I'm planning to continue working at home as much as possible.

Re: Springtime in NYC
I've been able to work from home all week as well. Getting more done because there are less distractions (the receptionist never shuts up, two people are out a lot and I end up covering for them, and my boss and another employee likes to yell across the room for attention). But then the CEO puts out a letter on Friday afternoon, killing overtime and states that not everyone is going to transition to the new building.
I was hired with 5 guaranteed hours of overtime per week, but nothing lasts forever. I'll just clock out and be unavailable for my lunch each day instead of working while eating. I just hope that I've made myself useful enough to not get axed. The market for financial analysts will probably shrink, and it will be impossible for me to find a comparable position because I don't have the prerequisite education.

What we need in times like these is a beautiful banjo tune, courtesy of Steve Martin:

That it a beautiful tune, and Martin is an excellent picker. But the coronavirus already has an official song.

Unabashedly stolen from someone who stole it from someone on Facebook:
With apologies to the great Eric Clapton
(To the tune of Cocaine)
[Verse 1]
If you want to hang out
You've got to buy take out
Covid
If you want to get down
You can’t go to into town
Covid
[Chorus]
Wash your hands
Wash your hands
Wash your hands
Covid
[Verse 2]
You will get the blues
When you watch the news
Covid
When you’re out of TP
Don’t try to steal from me
Covid
[Chorus]
Stay at home
On your phone
Be alone
Covid
[Bridge/solo]
[Verse 3]
Just forget TV
There’s nothing good to see
Covid
Take your temperature
So you can just be sure
Covid
[Chorus]
Where this goes
No one knows
Twitter blows
Covid
[Verse 4]
Watching Instagram
Will turn your brain to Spam
Covid
There’s no sports to see
We’re all going crazy
Covid
[Chorus]
Wash your hands
Wash your hands
Wash your hands
Covid
