This is hysterical....
Looks Like Jacquie Phoenix and Lazarus Loonspud's reign of terror has come to an end. They won't be at all happy about that and I don't suppose it'll be long before David is put on notice for treason
I've just looked in the "Members" section and it says there are no admins or moderators.David Robinson

This group is sprnt as a movement and needs no admin nor mods. The necessary info is within the files. The only remedy is for the sovereign people to collectively police the country, good luck with that under present conditions. You were warned and I am done.

Is Libel a statute, act, common law? Surely they don't consent to it. Come to think of it, no laws after MC 1215 are valid anyway.Lazarus Laurence wrote:

Without the ability to start new threads the Lazarist-Phoenixist faction and the DePantherists are reduced to plugging their respective new groups at the end of existing threads.

Please, at least try to get the terminology correct when you're dumping on us. It's Craft Beer.

Nice trip up the Icefields - all closed down now due to covid but the highway is still open, you just can't stop on the way. I go that way weather permitting if I have to go up to Edmonton, adds a couple of hours to the trip but it's a nice change. With respect to the arguments about craft vs artisanal beer - just avoid anything brewed in Northern BC unless you enjoy the taste of rotten pine needles. Stick to stuff brewed in Alberta. It's something to do with the hops they use and has a taste of this rotten crap I used to drink when I was younger:

The good old days of drinking "21 ups" at the Prospect or the Ledo. Twenty one beers for five bucks, everything in the bar either bolted down to the floor or too light to use as a weapon. And the famous stuffed moose heads in the Prospect - it was a tradition that on a woman's first visit there she had to hang her panties on the antlers. The new building was constructed on “the Cyanide”, a piece of filled-in land behind the railway station on the south side of the Schumacher Highway.

Not true. Last summer I spent three days in Smithers and had some excellent craft brews at the two small breweries in town. But I'd skip Prince George. With respect to the arguments about craft vs artisanal beer - just avoid anything brewed in Northern BC unless you enjoy the taste of rotten pine needles.

I will agree with you about the products in Prince George or Quesnel but in Smithers I wasn't impressed with their ISA's. That being said I enjoyed my stay there. I even got to meet followers of Travis Patron who was mentioned in the PLD Canada thread. I have to get around to doing a complete writeup on him since he is doing an interesting approach that I haven't seen before - classic Canadian OPCA plus Magna Carta. I sort of figured he was a little off the wall when I noted his followers were trying to do two things:
1. Trying to sell some serious weaponry - 338 Lapua is only of interest to crazies or a small minority of target shooters who have real money to spend;
2. At the same time trying to sign up supporters for his party using the line of "I'm not a racist, just ignore the fact that major supporters are NeoNazis"

Re: Practical Lawful Dissent FMOTL antics, continued...
I was into North American trips in those days shortly before fatherhood.
That particular trip was a little ambitious.
Heathrow to Seatac (via Chicago), 1 night delay connection cancelled.
Couple of nights in Seattle
Drive to Vancouver, stay with a friend
Drive to Banff, with overnight break in Kelowna (taking in a visit to Mission Hills winery (seemed like a religious cult))
Banff to Jasper on the aforementioned Icefields Parway.
Jasper to Seatac with overnight in Kamloops.
A 1 year Parks Canada pass was purchased on eBay, put to full use & sold again on my return.
As I dropped off the car in SeaTac the trip meter rolled over to 2000 miles.
I would do this in a more leisurely fashion in future.

Sounds like a nice trip.
