One can't help wondering if her comment
has anything to do with either her driving record or having to get commercial insurance??? Considering who she is hanging around with I 'm betting more on the former than the latter.our PLD hairdresser Krystal's Cutz wrote:car insurance is killing me

Good point, their policy of ignoring simple speeding or red light offences turns them into a six point MS90 endorsement for failure to provide driver details, a code that insurers really don't like to see.

Some if us will get that joke; but it likely has rusty chassis rails and sills anyway.
Car insurance in the UK is very expensive especially if you are young. It would be unusual for anyone starting driving and being under 25, paying less than four figures for a year's insurance. Unlike some states in the US, you can't restrict cover to some low amount, third party cover here is I think at least £1m.notorial dissent wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:11 am One can't help wondering if her commenthas anything to do with either her driving record or having to get commercial insurance??? Plus if she actually is a "mobile hairdresser", that would imply a vehicle used for business purposes so a different rate.ArthurWankspittle wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:44 amSome if us will get that joke; but it likely has rusty chassis rails and sills anyway.Car insurance in the UK is very expensive especially if you are young. I'm pretty sure all third party liability under UK motor insurance is by law unlimited.ArthurWankspittle wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:44 am Unlike some states in the US, you can't restrict cover to some low amount, third party cover here is I think at least £1m.
This one came in at over £20,000,000...

Article from the Guardian regarding Article 61 vs lockdown. Cites Ms Quinn.

Looks like a nice little super-spreader event, particularly in light of the new more contagious strain. Remind me again how much they are fining people for breaking quarantine and gathering ban now? This certainly ought to qualify as a finable action.
I personally don't care if they all get it, but I do care if they pass it on to some unsuspecting innocent.

I have to say "full house" is not much of a measure. It depends on how big the house is.
I count less than twenty people filling that "house" which is hardly storming The Capitol Building... Sorry... Bastille... I mean Bastille.

It would be such a shame if the organisers ended up with substantial fines for breaching the pandemic restrictions...
Which reminds me.

I note Jacquie's in that little gathering. Perhaps she should take note of this;
https://vancouversun.com/news/new-covid ... -of-canada
It would be tragic if we were to lose her guiding presence here in Canada because of some bureaucratic bumf but the feds seem adamant and I don't see the situation changing much by her return date in early March. This is going to be hard for her with masks and tests being profoundly evil tools of a tyrannical government.
She's also asking for more money on her personal FB page. Apparently Robinson's burial account needs topping up.

I can see where our valiant freedumb fighter would be in a pickle, not only having to wear a mask, but gasp, have an invasive nose swab before she can come back. Pur bubby....

Here I sit in Exiled Towers in splendid but miserable self isolation. Holidays? Nah. Meal out? Everywhere’s shut. Go see Liverpool? Beaten by Burnley - at home and behind closed doors - the dream is fading.
No, lockdown has certainly sucked the joy from life this year so far. Rain wind and snow, I sound like a right old misery and you’d be right.
But wait! There is hope! A super-spreader series of events is coming to a town near you. National lockdown? No chance. Worldwide pandemic? All made up! Council Tax? That’s for the other guy!
The linked event below shows relatively small gatherings of anti-everything nutters packed into equally small venues to hear all that’s news from the mouth of Canada’s second favourite export whilst giving the virus a free trip round the UK. Lots of meets so far with many more coming up.
Jackie is still here in the UK travelling the country together with a supporter called Stacey Wilkinson spreading COVID the word at an ongoing series of events.
Meanwhile the cops fine two women walking miles apart in a forest somewhere.

Sinead Quinn is playing double or quits.
https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/lo ... n-19687020Ms Quinn, whose salon is in Oakenshaw, has indicated that she might be about to break the Covid-19 lockdown rules again - on Saturday, January 30...
A post on the salon's Instagram account includes the heading - #TheGreatOpening - 30 January 2021.
Asked by an Instagram user if the salon will be opening on January 30 even with lockdown, she replies: "Yeah we're all opening regardless of lockdown.
"They can't control us all when we stand up to them."
