However, since the git couldn't be bothered to turn up in 1940
He wasn't needed because Dion Fortune was on the case.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dion_Fortune
From October 1939 through to October 1942, Fortune organised group meditations every Sunday with the intent of focusing Fraternity members towards the cause of peace. In February 1940, she undertook a visualisation in which she imagined angelic forces patrolling Britain's coast, believing that in doing so she was helping to make these forces a reality. She urged Fraternity members to repeat a mantra every time the German Luftwaffe began bombing Britain, through which she hoped to call upon "Invisible Helpers" from the "Inner Planes" to aid the people affected.
On the question of Waugh's imaginative version of history, the comet business certainly takes the biscuit at first glance. I'm guessing it's a fevered version of this story.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/scie ... 99093.html
A close shave with a comet nearly 1,500 years ago caused a catastrophic change in the global climate, leading to famine, plague, the end of the Roman Empire, the birth of the Dark Ages and even the legend of King Arthur, a leading British scientist said at the British Association meeting in London yesterday.
Actually the really mad bit, which seems to be entirely made up in Waugh's head is the assertion that:
the nobility of Rome sent their children to be educated in the Druidic universities.
I have an interest in the Druids both as historical reality and as the source of an enduring theme in various iterations of Celtic revival, and I can't say I've ever come across this bizarre idea. As most people know, the Romans regarded the Druids as cruel and barbaric in their practices, which forms a standard ingredient in dramatic portrayals of the Roman conquest. (See 'Britannia' for a contemporary version) The idea of patrician families sending their youngsters to a hostile barbarian culture at the edge of the world would surely seem unlikely to anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the period.

I'm pretty sure the Druids still run the university at Aberystwyth as well as organised crime and the What The Butler Saw porn industry in the town.

You certainly want to steer clear of them and if you see a black Austin Montego with blacked out windows... Walk away.
A technique known as 'Welsh roulette' is a favoured interrogation technique, where the number and colour of where the ball lands on the wheel determines what colour 'jack' you are hit with, and how many times...

Hah! Aberystwyth is nothing compared to the goings-on at Miskatonic University.

We're reading the forbidden books that ought not to be read
Learning the forbidden words that ought not to be said
Swapping minds with aliens, conversing with the dead -
And out on the football field we fill our foes with dread!

Rah, rah, Miskatonic
Yah, yah, Miskatonic
Fight fight fight until we die or go insane

Rah, rah, Miskatonic
Yah, yah, Miskatonic
When Cthulu calls "yoo hoo" we'll sink him in the sea again

You may be an Elder God from somewhere out in space
A recently thawed remnant of a frozen alien race
A long forgotten horror gibbering without a face
Mighty Miskatonic U will put you in your place
Hey!

Rah, rah, Miskatonic
Yah, yah, Miskatonic
Fight, fight, fight until we go insane or die

Rah, rah, Miskatonic
Yah, yah, Miskatonic
Miskatonic! Miskatonic! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Gimme an H
(H)
Gimme an A
(A)
Gimme an S
(S)
Gimme a T
(T)
Gimme a U
(U)
Gimme an R
(R)

What does that spell?
(Hastur!)
I can't hear you
(Hastur!)
One more time
(Hastur!)
Uh oh
(Aaaa!)

So if our cheer should accidentally open up a gate
We'll quickly close it back again and so avoid our fate
But if our incantation comes a little bit too late
Give our best to Herbert West and he'll reanimate
So

Rah, rah, Miskatonic
Yah, yah, Miskatonic
Fight, fight, fight until we go insane or die

Rah, rah, Miskatonic
Yah, yah, Miskatonic
Miskatonic! Miskatonic! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Not content with creating fantasy history, Waugh has also created a fantasy currency.

https://www.thebernician.net/introducin ... urrencies/

I couldn't make head nor tail of his announcement, and I actually own some 'real' cryptocurrency. It's unclear how, if at all, it relates to the I-Lien business he was promoting some time back as a distraction from his failure to take down the mortgage system.

Any suggestion that this recent flurry of activity is meant to distract his followers from the abysmal failure of the private prosecution is of course wide of the mark...

A little clue to the fate of iLien is near the end, when he's begging for cold hard cash.

I used to have a 100 Trillion Dollar note, before a burglary. Now, those notes are so popular that they go for north of $50.

O'Bonkers calls himself a "Film Maker" amongst other things, not that TGBMS could be described as such.

However, whilst perusing his Bernician site I saw a link saying "Nefarious." Upon clicking you are taken to the Nefarious website & it appears to be a film of sorts, with real actual actors that have done real TV & films. There is a rough cut trailer too with these actors doing acting. On a technical level I'd say the scenes have been shot on Mini-DV. It harps on about a 2020-21 release. I suspect it's been a long time in the making as the IMDB entry trivia section says-
Antony Kamerling (casted as Eric) died in 2010...
You have to wonder if the £17k budget (says IMDB) came from his trust fund before things went pear shaped.

I have a couple of those as well, for which I paid about $3 or $4 apiece. I wonder how much of that is collector popularity and how much is the set of people who think the Iraqi dinar revaluation people are gullible simpletons because everyone knows the real action is Zimbabwe dollar revaluation.

He's also been a stand up comedian. (Insert gag here!)

There is a reason why the majority of musicians, comedians and creative industries participants are from well heeled middle class families. They can afford to not have to put food in their mouths by working for a few years. But I don't decry the majority of them their success. A lot of them are very talented people who have benefited from a lucky break that's is not their fault.

However, O'Bonkers is one of the untalented ones, kept out of gainful employment by the accident of having a trust fund. He's done absolutely nothing of worth with his life.

I paid about the same for mine. I think that the demand stems from the face amount, since lesser valuations of ZimDollars are quite cheap.

I can't see that O'Bonkers was ever a comedian except inadvertently. He's totally lacking in self-awareness and that doesn't make for any sort of comedy other than a Bernard Manning "My fat mother-in-law is a n*g-n*g poof" sort... Which isn't comedy.

I'll bet a 25kg bag of pea-shingle he's never been paid for a "gig" and a small bag of play-pit sand he's been booed off stage more than once.

Never heard of him to be honest but one quick YouTube later... Funnier than Bernard Manning... Like haemorrhoids and the bombing of Hirosima.

Another private prosecution is being prepared, apparently.
https://www.thebernician.net/notice-of ... ss-murder/
Following many painstaking months of evidence gathering, the prosecution has posed the most serious kind of questions which could ever be asked of government ministers, in relation to the ever-growing abundance of prima facie evidence, which shows that Midazolam has been used to commit murder by government policy in UK care homes, under the cover of ‘a deadly pandemic’.

However, in the absence of an appropriate and timely rebuttal of our allegations with material evidence [not mere hearsay], we will finalize our evidence files and lay charges of mass murder by government policy in a Magistrates Court, demanding that every chief police officer immediately opens an investigation into all care home deaths since March 2020
.

Reading between the lines, I wonder if this means that Waugh's previous PP has been decisively knocked back.

I'm as much of a legal expert as Waugh, but I have a feeling that you can't lay charges on the basis that you want the police to find the evidence for the crime you claim has been committed.

This excerpt from the communication sent to the Secretary of State shows the depths of Waugh's scientific illiteracy. It's an exceptional level of stupid that could type that out, read it back, and not see the glaring error.
Shockingly, 6 out of 10 "with COVID" deaths during the first lockdown were of people with any sort of disability. It is impossible for a 'virus' to discriminate in such a manner, and therefore we contend these deaths must have been as a result
of very nefarious policies.
