He Who Knows wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2020 11:12 am It's ironic that Chrisy Morris accuses others of threatening him when that seems to be his speciality. He has stalked and threatened the wife and kids of Des Richardson in Mossley after a Facebook spat on 'FMOTL Fails'. He's stalked the neighbours of Rekha Patel in Glossop during his 5-mins of fame as a bailiff baiter. He's due in court for abusive behaviour to members of his own family. The only reason he has avoided comeuppance so far is due to the under-resourced criminal justice system (see page 59 about CPS incompetence allowed him to win his appeal against the charge of obstructing a High Court Enforcement officer). The guy has got away with it for far too long.
He won’t for much longer. I doubt any councillors regards of political party will put up with threatening behaviour especially towards a fellow councillor, at a meeting.

Whilst the rules are that removal as a councillor are down to the elctorate, a physical ban from council meetings and potential police action are the same as for anyone else.

These local paper stories are related to Morris' latest activities.

https://www.maldonandburnhamstandard.co ... nt/?ref=ar
The probe looked into complaints against Adrian Fluker for making a ‘throat-slit’ gesture at a meeting and saying “Hello Sailor” to a fellow councillor.

The report says that three complaints were made by Independent councillors Chrisy Morris, Wendy Stamp and Carlie Mayes after a council meeting on September 12 last year.

A COUNCIL leader has been cleared of breaching his code of conduct after allegedly making a homophobic comment and “throat-slitting” gesture.
And here's a search result for all mentions of our hero in the local rag, if you crave more..

As a Man of Kent can I just say that Kwissy does very little to dispel my (perfectly valid) prejudices against people from Essex <spit>.

A couple of years ago, Chrissy got himself elected as a local parish councillor. The following video of the recent parish meeting shows Mr Morris making his contribution to public service.

He also broadcast this on his Metabook page.

I feel really sorry for the chairwoman and other members of that committee. We get to come here, or not, at our whim, to listen and laugh at Mr. Morris.

She, and her colleagues, on the other hand, are forced to put up with him on a regular basis, and they don't have the luxury that we have, of simply turning off the video to go do something more productive, like hit our heads against a wall.

Chrissy got himself elected as a local parish councillor.
Point of Order!

He's actually a District Councillor.

Next step up from parish for those not familiar with UK local government, and have actual meaningful powers.

My understanding is that he was elected to both a parish and a district council.

Correct, he was.

This is his parish council seat:

For those wondering about:
Council members voted to extend Mr Morris' ban from attending all committees and working groups or outside bodies from 12 months to 18 months.

Mr Morris said: "I'm not on any, how can you remove me from them I'm not on any."
I don't have Maldon's standing orders. but it is customary for elected councillors to be able to attend committees and working groups they are not on, even closed meetings, to allow them to be heard by the chair on matters that may relate to their constituents. It would therefore seem to be a sensible precaution to ban him from them.

And if I were them, if the allegation of disclosing confidential information is correct, he probably should also be reported to the Information Commissioner for criminal investigation.

During proceedings, he called Mr Heard as a "coward" and said: "At least I have got the testicular fortitude to sit here and speak my truth."
Am I the only one who automatically translates "my truth" as "total bollocks"?

I'm not in the mood to listen to Mr Shouty again, but iirc in the previous clip posted by SoLongCeyon, he used it when they cut his mike.

He's made the Independent.

He's now got into some fisticuffs with an irate husband of one of the councillors he chastised, the latest is he's at the local plod shop giving a victim statement with his pal in tow.
This morning on YouTube a short lived video was shown of the transcript to the family court proceedings of his child custody revealed a very unpleasant side to him including quite a number of involuntary stays in mental health institutions.
