After an automatic upgrade from Firefox 109 to Firefox 110 the other day, I wasn't able to access the site, first getting a red warning message, then a 503 Service Unavailable message. It seems I'm not the only one.

If you have automatic updates switched on, you might want to disable them for the time being, until the problem has been sorted out. I found that, once I was blocked via Firefox, whatever script it contained that led me to being blocked also meant I couldn't access the site on Chrome or Opera either.

I had to uninstall Firefox 110, hunt for a version of 109 and reinstall that instead. All is back to normal now, and hopefully the site admins (or Mozilla) will fix whatever Firefox bug was causing this.

Yes, the blocking script was updated to fix the problem, which had to do with...computer stuff.
