..the defendant obviously didn’t use the correct colour pens or a Trancash giro.

The guy called Too Tall on there dishes out some staggeringly bad advice, but presents it in a way that the freeloaders lap up as legal advice.TheRambler wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 5:09 pm

Trouble is that you need to lick crayons to produce a “wet ink” signature. Maybe that’s where they go wrong.JamesVincent wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 2:04 amYou mean crayon?TheRambler wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 5:09 pm ..the defendant obviously didn’t use the correct colour pens or a Trancash giro.

He's not the only one, the group is a classic echo chamber with a recognisable grift element. You've seen the video, now buy my book. Whilst poor process undeniably exists and the culprits should be held to account, that people believe there is an easy way to write off debt and are taken in by the wilder claims of "Success!!!!" is sad. However I suppose that might be how some of them got in a pickle in the first place.TheRambler wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 1:53 pmhucknallred wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 6:55 amThe guy called Too Tall on there dishes out some staggeringly bad advice, but presents it in a way that the freeloaders lap up as legal advice.TheRambler wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 5:09 pm

I've seen no grift as such in the Contract law group. Just the advice by Too Tall.TheRambler wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 1:54 pm

Are you confusing it with Debt Ninjas? That group deserves a thread of its own.
I managed to rip off the Debt Ninjas book via a Scribd free trial.
The author is hiding in Europe somewhere encouraging people to buy his book, and they do.
If I can find somewhere to host the pdf reliably I'll post a link up here.

Another Perfected Lien
Andrew Jacob Cassini has obviously found the magic key to making the Perfected Lien work. Here are details of one he published back in March this year:
https://publicnoticeportal.uk/notice/o ... 0bda323c23
It must have worked as advertised as he has just published another one:
https://publicnoticeportal.uk/notice/s ... 953aca8bc1
He wouldn’t waste all that time and effort if it didn’t work at the first attempt, would he?
Even the comments in the Contract Trust and Privacy FB group are a tiny bit sceptical.

I came across this one by accident care of a link to a YouTube video of British Transport Police coming to arrest them. Allegedly these guys moved into their current property adjacent to Altnabreac station in Scotland and subsequently decided to prevent Scotrail or Network accessing the station or level crossing for maintenance.

This recent judgement is fairly long (you can skip the parts that set out the applicable law), but the factual parts show all too clearly how someone who's fallen down the rabbit hole can cause terrible upset and suffering to family members. I can't imagne how awful William's last few years were.

The bailiffs finally seized Ryan's castle, it's being sold by auction right now - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/151963205#/AnOwlCalledSage wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 10:08 am As it's been quiet, I thought I'd see if there had been any recent cases.

I note that the listing states that:The bailiffs finally seized Ryan's castle,
It is believed that the farmhouse is currently occupied by unconfirmed occupants.
No Viewings Available
Which rather implies that either the bailiffs didn't seize it, or it was reoccupied. Either way, the guide price seems optimistic.Any warranties concerning vacant possession are expressly excluded by the Seller. The Property is being sold subject to any lease, licence or other occupation which may exist as at the date of Completion without obligation on the part of the Seller to define or identify the same. Any potential bidders must rely on their own due diligence.

That's a nice looking pad. I'm not on that side of the pond but that price seems low?

Looks a nice price to me too, I guess the possible squatter may have reduced the price somewhat.

Re: Random Freemanesque Babblings II: Back to the Futile
The old direct debit reclaim scam seems to be rambling on, but with banks a bit less trusting and the whackos moving onto more blatant fraud. In spite of all their rubbish about "remaining in honour". From the Free Energy Nationwide group on Telegram ...
""Hi all. DIRECT DEBIT INDEMNITY CLAIM declined because it has been set properly on my name. The claim was against Council tax overpayments done in error. Reason for the claim was double payment from my wife and I for the same property(which is false-just used for a reason of the claim). No bank fault found-DDIC declined. Does the payment made in ERROR need to be bank's or Council's fault to recognise it as error? I thought that only my declaration for error payments from my side would be enough to raise DDIC? Any advise on that matter? Thank you in advance."

Trevor Mealham has been given a ECRO following his latest attempt to stave off repossession.
I'm not sure he's used overtly Freeloader arguments in his adventures through the courts alleging fraud, but his supporters (one of whom gave his name to the court as King Charles III) certainly do.

Re: Random Freemanesque Babblings II: Back to the Futile
This is how many of the grifters, like O'Bonkers, operate. They take what, on the face of things, appears to be a genuine grievance (or at least one worth testing in court) and then twist it into something that it isn't.
A prime example of this is Noel Edmonds (and Lloyds Bank are once again the villains of the piece). He was scammed by bank employees whilst they were working for HBOS. Since it was the Reading Branch involved and he wasn't getting anywhere, he contacted the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Anthony Stansfield who, not for the only time, acted outside his authority and meddled in matters.
It just so happened that on this occasion the underlying complaint was true. Hence, Andrew Anthony Stansfield started telling everyone who would listen that he had discovered the whole banking system was corrupt, and now appears as the darling "expert" on many of the unhinged FotLer podcasts. I think he even once appeared in a video involving Neelu.
Edit: Correcting name error
