Brown Supporter Trial (even more)

Post by Demosthenes »

Best quote of the day came from a Jason email:
I choose to enjoy porn while fondling my gun at Ed Brown's house. Try it one day. It's the best of all possible worlds.

I think that kind of depends upon what kind of gun we are talking about. A nice stainless or parkerized 1911A would be nice. An AR15 would be even better. Maybe even a Glock 20. I'll go for the AR15.

And not that kind of gun you perverts.

This is my favorite quote of the day (Thanks Demo!):

From http://www.redcrayons.net:

“DUDE, You have been watching way too much Fox News.”

Dude, I studied chemical engineering and weapons policy at Berkeley.

I've been using "Dr Pepper" as a handle since the days of the Apple ][ bbs. The only reason i registered as grixit here was that the system didn't let me use a two word handle at the time. Of course the system has changed a few times since then and we've had folks like Captain Kickback for some time. But i never got around to reregistering. And now someone else swoops in :(.

Oh well. Someone owes me a crate of 2liters for my hurt feelings!

The comments on the redcrayons site are cracking me up. Who knew that the only people stupid enough to pay taxes and think there was a law were nothing but dumb rednecks?

The unintentional humor is killing me.

Unfortunately I didn't have a camera handy with me when I was there and the only time I was able to see Scoop for any length of time it was from 2 rows behind her in the court room.

Oh well, maybe the next trial :D

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elaine is still listed as in transit on the bureau of
prisons website. i believe she was transferred to new
Hampshire on Monday the 31st because she was
subpoenaed for the first which was Tuesday. she took
the stand Tuesday morning i believe (without the jury
present like the rest of us) and the court papers said
she was to be returned to Danbury after she was
finished in new Hampshire. however they told her to
pack her personals before she left for the trip to
n.h. now she is still listed as in transit and there
haven't been any emails or letters in several days,
(since before she left for n.h.)to myself or other supporters.
it only takes several
hours to drive from New Hampshire to Connecticut so
why the hold-up? or is she being diesel therapied
herself now? on a side note ed just got out of the SHU
(segregation) he had a 15 day stint to serve (should
have ended on march 27th) and he also lost his phone
privileges for 1 year!!
he lost them for 180 days for
listening to Elaine's call and another 180 days for
allowing a fellow inmate use of his phone account to call
his sick father (dying of cancer) because the guy had
no money in his phone account. so i wouldn't expect
any calls from ed for a while. no word on whether his
mail is still ok or not. has anyone heard from him
recently? probably not because hes been in seg but
please let me know a.s.a.p. when/if you do.
while i was in n.h. this weekend i got photos of
the commercial property for him and Elaine (i don't
want to send them until i know he'll get them) and
also went to the house (driveway anyway) to see what
was there and it has been posted as U.S. govt property
and they installed a gate on the driveway.

Good report, kind of different to actually hear, (I've spent all of my life around airplanes and auto plants, so I'm 'bout deaf and don't listen to much audio)
Is it true that Scoop is a Yalie? Too bad, she had potential.

Has the case been sent to the jury for deliberations?

BTW, thanks demo for your daily updates and Scoop for the articles. I would've loved to have been there but at least I can stay updated.......

Yes. The jury got its instructions this morning and has been deliberating since roughly 10 a.m. I'll try to check in when/if they come back with a verdict.
