Anybody know anything about this nutjob?

He has been filing all sorts of nonsense court pleadings, collected on his website here:

Especially amusing is his "rejection and counteroffer" of the 6th Circuit's decision affirming his conviction:

As best as I can figure out, he was convicted of tax evasion and failure to file, served his sentence, but is refusing to cooperate with the probation department because he claims his original conviction was a "void judgment." The last documents he filed show a hearing on the motion to revoke his probation set for yesterday (July 2). Based on his failure to update his website, I bet things didn't go well for him.

It's clear from his web pages that he has been ignoring his parole conditions, based on his claim that his original conviction was "void." The court hearing on July 2 was to re-incarcerate him for failure to comply with those parolee conditions.

Interspersed with Maken's nonsense filings is a minute entry from a hearing July 7 (nothing from July 2) as follows: "Court will grant deft request and appoint standby legal advisor . . . court to appoint stand by counsel, Court to re-set proceedings to a 7/18 @3:00. Probation officer to provide ccurt with an uptodate petition and amend prior petition to include additional dates of violations." Following another Maken brain fart is an order dated July 9 appointing one Vincent Paul Popp as standby counsel pursuant to the CJA.
