Thanks for the article, Captain. There are a lot of bad things that happen to people who willfully fail to file taxes, or who game the system by dishonest filing. But because everyone's means of earning a living is different, where they live and who they live with, it is impossible to generalize. I'm sure there is a specialty, sociology(?), that could answer that question as the non-filers come forward on this forum to give the details of their income level.
