So, what is the sound of your one last (and only) brain cell dying? If you did not earn "wages," why certify that you even earned "0" wages?
Zero wages are zero wages.
Zero wages still implies that you earned "wages."

The mail bomber followers are all born losers; getting a job at a tire shop would be a dramatic step up nearly all of them. Probably not a single one of them have an IQ as high as your average poodle.
Yet, despite their stupidity and utter failure to succeed at anything, they remain self-convinced that somehow they have found the magic bullet that has eluded so many tax lawyers and legal scholars.
Yeah, right, right.

In all fairness, it did take Western civilization a very long time to accept the use of "zero". I think that at one point, the Catholic Church considered using zero a sin because it was an Arabic number. Wouldn't surprise me if they developed a new conspiracy theory about how using Arabic numerals, rather than Roman, takes you out of the "Body of the Lord" and puts you under admiralty jurisdiction.LPC wrote:So, what is the sound of your one last (and only) brain cell dying? If you did not earn "wages," why certify that you even earned "0" wages?

"Admiral" is, after all, an arabic word (or phrase).Wouldn't surprise me if they developed a new conspiracy theory about how using Arabic numerals, rather than Roman, takes you out of the "Body of the Lord" and puts you under admiralty jurisdiction.

Yes, but the rules are specific that it has to be mentioned at least once a year.grixit wrote:I believe i mentioned that last year.

zero wages still wages?
Actually, this brings to mind a tax-denial argument we've heard before: "Am I subject to the tax on distilling if I don't do any distilling?" The answer is actually yes. You are subject to the tax but since you did zero distilling the tax is zero. The difference is that nondistillers don't have to file a return, but even if your taxable income is zero, you may have to file an income-tax return.Zero wages still implies that you earned "wages."
