Ummm, I don't see how this is a Nigerian (or other form of) scam. It may be a time-waster but it looks for a moment as if you are not being asked for money or anything tangible.

Somehow I have a feeling that with $12M at stake, this guy would have at least known my name and my gender, and my nationality.

And why, when funds can be readily and easily moved by wire in this day and age do they think this scam is viable? I really love the old 12 !/2 million dollars in trunks routine, like they have any idea how many trunks that would even take.. No points at all for originality.
