Wish she used that flag when I saw her in DC. I was standing right next to her for a half hour and then it dawned on me. The hair threw me off.

Would love to attend, but -- alas -- stuck in a hearing that day.

I was able to lose most of my hair before it had a chance to go gray.

And I'm making plans to attend. That's not a promise (or a threat), but just conveying my present state of mind.

(Part of the problem is that the last time I went to a "meeting" in DC, I fell asleep on the train and ended up in Trenton. So I have to assure "certain people" that I will be able to find my own way home without assistance.)

You read my mind, Banjo. My wife frets about gray hair, and I sometimes cite Emmylou Harris to her as an example of yet another hot babe in gray.

Grey hair makes one look distinguished, or so I've been told. The caveat is that imo, distinguished is a synonym for old.
