Hendrickson's Heroes & John Stossel TV show
Re: Hendrickson's Heroes & John Stossel TV show
I have seen a lot of stuff in my day, and I have learned a lot of things about people, sometimes things I didn't want to know. But I cannot think of a time when I learned something I wanted to know less.Harvester wrote:Oh, mine's so big it has bark.

Your hands must be so raw, I'd be surprised if you aren't bleeding all over the keyboard. And to be honest, I kind of want to cut it in half and count the rings if only to see if its age coincides with yours.Harvester wrote:Oh, mine's so big it has bark.

You're better off taking a core sample, remember as close to the base as possible, I think a two inch hole saw will do the job.webhick wrote:Your hands must be so raw, I'd be surprised if you aren't bleeding all over the keyboard. Didn't know they made them out of wood these days, do you at least have a good story to go along with it like did you step on a bouncing betty, or maybe have a jealous lover?Harvester wrote:Oh, mine's so big it has bark.
Again you should probably pay a doctor to look at it.

When I toured Snake Alley in Taipei, they had all these shops selling life-sized carved penises, made from different semi-precious stones, amethyst, quartz, citrine, jade. Harv, they'd at least not give you splinters like your preferred toy will.

Bummer.
Appears we did not get the show's attention as we had hoped.
Quite possibly because only (4) people made it to the show/taping. Thus, we did not have the audience share needed to make a difference.
Getting the media's attention requires effort - lot's of it, especially when we're fighting the battle few are willing to fight because of fear.
I suspect we will not make much of an impression on the show's producers with respect to emails being sent to them by CTC educated folks. I have seen a few and I believe Pete has see a few. To [sic] few to make a difference?
In closing, this battle requires effort and support - a few are doing both. Only You can decide if your part of the few making a difference. If your not...you know the old story about being part of the solution or part of the problem.
Regards,
Tim

Here's a link to an excerpt from the show, where the Fabulous Felon, the Bloviating Blowhard, the PontificatingPrisonBoundPeterMeister, gets to ask a question.

There is less there than meets the eye.
EDIT: Maybe we should take up a collection and buy a T-shirt for Pete Hendrickson that says "I WENT ALL THE WAY TO NEW YORK TO BE ON TV, AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOUSY T-SHIRT AND I DIDN'T GET TO TALK A LOT OR BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION AND I STILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO PRISON ANYWAY."

Re: Hendrickson's Heroes & John Stossel TV show
I can just imagine the producer's assistants interviewing audience members who volunteer to ask a question before the taping; Hendrickson of course, doesn't mention he's been convicted (again) or that he's about to be sentenced (again), and his ego is so large that he expects Stossel to somehow know he's the leader of a massive movement to stop the bullying of the IRS. How disappointing it must have been for him that Stossel didn't go off on a supportive rant about how CtC was taking the fight to the IRS.
