1 - Is a pirate costume or accent mandayory or optional?
2 - Are you bring any special, surprise guests like Ranger Rick, again?

I would love to be there, but I have a prior engagement at the Bilderberg Hotel.

Not to be redundant, but I'd be there if there was a book to get signed.

I'll be there, looking forward to it.

For those not attending the DC party, we're going to have a travel-expense-free bash in the Good Life forum. Bring your own booze, hookers, torture devices, and interns. You'll also want to set up an airtight alibi for the evening, just in case I decide to throw you under the bus for something.

I'm afraid I can't make this year's soiree but I am definitely adding this to my Bucket List for a date in the future.

Re: 2010 QUATLOOS PARTY
You don't get enough derision over the Internet that you want to add to it in person
Also, you don't seem to be aware of the house rule that a first-time attendee is required to buy a round for the rest of us.
By the way, the shirt is SO bad an idea. You probably don't want to advertise blatant tax evasion at a popular bar within 3 blocks of the IRS National Headquarters, the Department of Justice, and the Tax Court.

I already wear my pirate costume.
Would I have to leave it behind?

Re: 2010 QUATLOOS PARTY
Some year I'll get there and I'll certainly be good for my round as a first-timer, but this year I've promised to go to my 40th high school reunion, which will be the first one I've attended. So I can only be with you in spirit; watch for an astral projection with a pirate cutlass. Harv, thanks so much for showing and identifying yourself with the shirt; my shapeshifting alien agents will be waiting outside to pick your trail up when you leave.

If you're going to make them, I want, I want
Otherwise, I'll just get by with a Post-It and a Magic Marker (TMs omitted)

One person should design a general format, leaving room in one corner for each attendee's icon.

Wish I could drop by ... sounds like a lot of fun. Have a few for me! (I'll be thinking of you all while I'm listening to older men complain about their hemorrhoid-surgery claims not being paid ... and then describing the problem in excruciating detail.)
