Unfortunately, in the obituaries, taking two police officers with them.
An anti-tax and anti-government father-son duo (the son was just 16) apparently opened fire on police during a traffic stop, and were themselves shot and killed in a shoot-out two hours later. Full story from the NY Times.
According to news reports, Jerry Ralph Kane Jr. had already lost two homes to foreclosure, had been jailed earlier in the month for driving with a suspended license, and was traveling the country giving seminars on redemption theory.
