Your difficulties in reaching me can be traced to the fact that
my answering machine says your older brother initially called
at 3:40 a.m., when I was at home asleep. Eventually he called
after 8 a.m. and, using the correct password of "swordfish,"
he got right through. That proves that perseverance pays off,
especially for your long distance carrier. Sorry about that. By
the way, your brother mentioned that a financial or security company
would be calling me later in the day. Well, the receptionist says
somebody with an African accent did try calling me but didn't
have the
password. Could that have been the company your brother was talking
about? Be mindful that I will not be at work tomorrow in observance
of the July 4 holiday.

I received a fax today from West Coast Security Company, however
I am unable to immediately comply with the request for a faxed
copy of my international passport. That is because my passport
is at home. Regarding the request for my private phone and fax
lines, please continue to use (602) 272-6848 and (602) 272-7239
since I am almost always at work and I have no home fax machine.
Our telephone receptionist informs me that this morning I received
a call from somebody with an African accent, but unfortunately
that individual did not know the password. Please inform the security
company of the password, which is "swordfish." Please
also be advised that the password changes periodically, but do
not be alarmed because I will notify you of any changes.

Has the security company lost or misplaced my fax? Please immediately
recheck with the security company and have them conduct a thorough
search of all their files and their garbage receptacles. I do
not want an unauthorized individual to get their hands on my passport

Dear Okut:
This news is extremely disturbing. I faxed the security company
photocopies of pages 1, 2 and 3 of my international passport on
July 10, which was more than a week ago! The fax went through
successfully because I received confirmation. The security company
MUST, I repeat MUST, find this fax! I cannot allow my confidential
passport information to remain lost, where it might fall into
some swindler's or pervert's hands, or worse yet, sold on the
black market to some terrorist!! What kind of a "security"
company are you dealing with anyway, Petit, where nothing is "secure"
and where they must wrap their leftovers in somebody's important
documents???
I demand that this security company of yours immediately find
my passport information. Have them check all their files, search
underneath and behind all furniture, and rummage through their
refrigerator and trash cans. If the trash has been removed, you
must demand that they go to the town dump today to conduct a comprehensive
search for my information. Again, I insist it be found NOW, before
some miscreant, criminal or terrorist stumbles across it at the
dump or someplace else. The loss of my passport information represents
a clear and present danger to the United States of America, long
may she wave above the fruited plain! I shall not rest one minute
- no, not even one second - until it is found! I thought I was
dealing with professionals, but maybe I was wrong!!!

Dear Okut:
Your security company is either lying to you or they are completely
incompetent. Have they conducted a search of their files? Have
they gone through the trash? Have they searched the town dump?
I am extremely upset and angry and fear the worst - that my passport
information has been sold by your security company to a terrorist
organization. I will not be supplying any more information to
either you or the security company until the security company
faxes me a signed statement saying they have found the passport
information I faxed to them on July 10. My fax number is 602-272-7239.
If I do not receive a signed statement by Wednesday, July 24,
that my passport information has been found, I will have no other
choice but to contact the United States Marines and request an
immediate frontal assault. The Marines certainly will realize
that the future of our country will be at stake if my passport
gets into the wrong hands. I assure you, they will act accordingly,
with lightning speed and more force than a dozen Schwarzeneggers.

your security company have frittered away this grace period. Commanders

Please provide the exact location of your security company so
that a targeted hit can be made. Otherwise cluster bombing may
