I went to an Ivy League School on a scholarship when I was 15 years old, and I don't play any sports, quite a few people think I'm pretty bright. I also founded a company that builds race car parts that made me a few dollars, so I'd call myself fairly mechanical in aptitude, too.

If you were truly gifted, you wouldn't need to maintain your IQ.
Also, aren't you lowering your standards comparing your Da Vinci like intellect with the rest of that 14th Amendment tainted United States? Man, you need to let go of those Socialist ideals like aptitude testing and let your intellect soar like an eagle! But do it safely, away from the corrupting influences on the internet.

Re: The Real LB Bork Thread
Having looked at the e-mails from "Jurist" and the "Red Amendment" web site, I would suggest that Mr. Bork has been relatively unsuccessful in maintaining his high IQ.
These materials demonstrate a significant departure from the unquestioned history of the creation and ratification of the 13th and 14th Amendment. Further, the suggestion that the Congress, lacking a quorum under the rules of parliamentary proceedure, could only adjurn after the secession of the Confederate States certainly misunderstands the difference between a governing body and government and Robert's Rules of Order. The statements made are also mistaken as to Robert's Rules, for the Southern States withdrew from the U.S. --resigned so to speak. Mr. Bork should review to understand that type of event.
In other words, Mr. Bork seems to me to be very mistaken in his initial analysis of the impact of the Civil War on civil government in the (remaining) U.S. Thereafter, the North -- the U.S. -- conquered the C.S.A. and reincorporated the CSA states into the U.S.

I think this goes without saying.

In fact they demonstrate either a complete cluelessness about the realities of history, or a deliberate fantacizing of what happened for his own purposes.

I do not believes that there is any "seems" about it. Bork is totally and completely WRONG in his analysis, if you want to give poor fiction and abuse of the English language that much dignity. The plain fact of the matter is that Bork is WRONG on all of the fantasy that he is propounding as received wisdom. I don't pretend to be an expert on Bork's fantasies, but so far everything he has gone on about has been the poorest of fiction.

Re: The Real LB Bork Thread
Bork; like most of the TPs, sovereignorami, paytriots, and their kin; starts with a conclusion.
He then mines the Internet and whatever other sources he can locate, misquotes or misinterprets legitimate material, blindly relies on incorrect information, and flat-out lies to get to where he started.
He and his ilk care about nothing other than supporting their foregone conclusions.
If it weren't for the pity that they are constantly drawing others into their delusional webs, they would be nothing more than marginal comic relief.

Be that as it may (or may not be). I just took a look at Mr.Bork's PAC "Not My Government" forum and an amusing set of numbers jumped out:The Jurist wrote: .,..
p.s. I have noted that PAC generally beats the Quattards site on Google searches. Must have something to do with the popularity of the web portal configuration.

So, if his board statistics are correct Mr.Bork has made 1612 of the 2082 posts on his forum. 517 of his members contribute about 23% of the comments, he provides all the rest. Maybe Mr.Bork is just more comfortable expressing himself in a group which let's him have nearly all the say.LB Bork

If you plan on going deeper, reading all of the threads on there, you'll realize that there's a certain disorder to the whole thing. I don't think his members understand his complex (read: moronic) organization system, which is why we're not seeing active participation. There are too many boards and nobody knows where to post! These kinds of things really stifle what could be a happening patriot forum. If Bork aimed for simplicity, he could have more members, and ergo, more marks.
Another thought I want to get out, now that we're speculating - I wonder how much money he has made from his scam. 518 members, Nationality correction ($450)+ membership ($300), or his book ($30, deluxe $35). He claims that he has been around 10 years, though I'm not sure how long those forums have been around (maybe five?).
518 * (450 + 300 + 30) = $404,040
It's a flawed calculation, I don't know anything about married couples (which is no different than another person), or children (interestingly enough, his Nationality correction form doesn't mention children, so I wonder if there's a special undisclosed variable rate on them). I also don't know if every forum member went through the process, as well as the number of people who went through the process who aren't on the forums. I also don't know how much money he has made in book sales alone.
Though I'm still confident that number is the low ball park figure. Though I would never say higher than 1 million over 10 years. He's just not that big of a fish, and he knows it. He admits that other scammers steal his material to a greater success, even though his 14th Amendment theory isn't new at all. Well, they say that what goes around comes around.

The people who I know that know you personally all refer to you as Len (and I think Lenny, but I might not be remembering right). Yeah dude, we have acquaintances in common, and they're your fans. Haven't heard much about you from them in the last year or so... Sovereign Idiots can be fickle that way, there's always a new delusion to get excited about. Hopefully they'll get to re-kindle things and I'll show up and meet you in person. If I do, I won't identify my self, but I'll be sure to post a cameraphone pic.The Jurist wrote:p.s. The "Brett" part came from the $12,923.20 delinquent tax warrant on Dept. of Revenue vs. LEONARD BORK Grant County Case Number 1999TW000372, which went to General Delivery, Kieler, WI.
I'm glad to see you're good at mechanical stuff. I was starting to think you were 100% useless - you're closer to 0.1% on the "meaningful contributions to society" scale.

Re: The Real LB Bork Thread
Ya know, the last time I took the ASVAB, a test I doubt you ever took, I scored a 95 out of 99. The mechanical aptitude section I scored a perfect on, I believe a 146 out of 146. Average score on the test I believe is about 45 and your only required to score an 18 ( unless they changed it again) to enlist in the military. I built my first engine when I was 13 and my first car when I was 16. Which proves I know jack about Constitutional Law and interpretation. Whatever you think or want people to think about how smart you are, trust me, theres smarter and better. As good as I am with cars and what not, guarantee you Gregg is a piss load better than me. And I have a friend that builds tube chassis for some of the most famous racers out there thats probably better then Gregg. Its the nature of life and people that there are better and smarter people out there.
Having said all that, your still an idiot since you cant even understand one of the most basic and simplest of ideas, that sometimes you do have to believe what you read, because it is the truth.

Re: The Real LB Bork Thread
Bork has a new screed up which he calls "The Origin of Sovereign Citizens". The thought process, such as it is, is pretty transparent: "Sovereign citizens are getting a lot of press lately. I have the same four acolytes that I had two years ago. Let's reach out for some sovereign types." The writing is no different from the past; he still refers to the same "many people" who have "discovered" that the Fourteenth Amendment is the root of all evil. He names none of them - other, of course, than himself. But it's funny - remember how Lenny was so insistent that he was not a "sovereign citizens"? That appears to have changed:
He goes on through the usual nonsense: states are actually independent nationalities, the 14th created an "alternate system" "de facto government" and so forth. There is the usual quota of simple dumb shit:
However, I think we can take pride that Lenny has added a new class of demon: lawyers. In the same manner that the quacks who sell herbal "cures" for cancer tell their marks to avoid doctors, Lenny tells his to avoid lawyers:
Finally, Lenny names names:
Feeling demonized? Pay Lenny.it appears that those factions invested in the deception have labeled all truth-seekers as Sovereign Citizens in order to demonize them.
He goes on through the usual nonsense: states are actually independent nationalities, the 14th created an "alternate system" "de facto government" and so forth. There is the usual quota of simple dumb shit:
History according to Bork. We've seen, discussed and laughed at it before. The 14th Amendment empowers corporations with property rights and protections just as if they were people. That was the true purpose of the Civil War.
However, I think we can take pride that Lenny has added a new class of demon: lawyers. In the same manner that the quacks who sell herbal "cures" for cancer tell their marks to avoid doctors, Lenny tells his to avoid lawyers:
Well, perhaps Lenny can point me to my "stream of enormous income", whatever that is. Hundred-foot-long FRNs? But it's pretty clear why Bork wants his marks to avoid lawyers.attorneys believe they have a monopoly on the law, wherefore (sic) keep their "trade secrets" to themselves . . . to protect their monopoly and stream of enormous income
Finally, Lenny names names:
