Apparently Tom Crawford was handed a copy too, as he just happened to be at the High Court looking for applications to the Queens Bench regarding his own case and apparently was very surprised to see Mark Gillard there lol

I'm still slighty confused as to why Tom Crawford got a copy. I had assumed that a similar order had been taken out for him but maybe I'm missing something?

It do look that way don't it???
Could it possibly have anything to do with all the kind and loving things Ceylon has been saying about Mark along? Inquiring minds would love to know.

The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

As this is now sub judice, it's probably unwise to speculate or comment on what the alleged libel might be.notorial dissent wrote:It do look that way don't it???

JULIAN: I recommend we try Per verulium ad camphorum actus injuria linctus est.
SANDY: That's your actual Latin.
HORNE: What does it mean?
JULIAN: I dunno - I got it off a bottle of horse rub, but it sounds good, doesn't it?

I had always thought sub judice was limited to criminal proceedings, but you're absolutely correct, it's anything being considered by a Court.mufc1959 wrote:As this is now sub judice, it's probably unwise to speculate or comment on what the alleged libel might be.notorial dissent wrote:It do look that way don't it???

At Liberty to apply for interim relief
'Court Orders Available
Orders which a court may be prepared to make depend upon the nature of the application, the background circumstances of the case and the risks evident to the claimant by not making the orders sought. A suite of types of orders are available against the wrongdoers
Courts have jurisdiction to make any order which appears to be just and convenient in the circumstances to grant, whether or not final relief would be available to the claimant/applicant. The purpose of these orders is to empower the Court to make orders which give effective interim relief in the circumstances of the case in respect to relevant property.'

Makes no sense to me for Gillard to have done this.

Yep £480 issue fee then £155 application fee.Pox wrote: Anybody know how much this action would have cost Gillard?

Another thing, I haven't been following this case but I would guess there is something in the claimants case. This was heard by a proper High Court Puisne judge who would not suffer fools gladly and wouldn't hesitate to strike out a dodgy case of his own initiative.

I guess if he believes that someone has been pretty vile to him and a judge thinks there may be enough evidence for a court to hear then I guess that's reason enough. It's now down to the defendant to put his side and the courts will then decide.Jeffrey wrote:Makes no sense to me for Gillard to have done this.

Surprised this has not happened to Ceylon before, but for it to come from within, oh the irony
