Bernie screwed his customers about every way he could. He charged them double and then some for his dud doubloons, anyone who left stuff with him or had warehouse receipts lost what they had, as did people who were involved in the last round of orders, and I would suspect the IRS are looking with interest at all the customers they can identify.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

I assume Poe's 'LEGAL TENDER NOTES' will be legal tender in the same way as his cheques are bills of exchange which everybody (except Poe himself) has to accept or the debt is discharged... Because he says so.
In the absence of Poe sending out toxic Bank of England notes I'm waiting with baited breath to see what sort of piffle he comes out with to convince not only his own marks but the finacial world in general that they are anything other than just more worthless shite.

How on earth do you run up a three grand gas bill?
We've barely even spent that in the 10 years we've been living here....

Re: Peter of England: He's going to be in REal trouble
I would love to watch one of Pete's marks try to pay for ANYTHING with those worthless notes. Chances are they'd be told that the shop doesn't accept foreign currency, then get into an argument about what currency is with a cashier, attract the attention of management and security, then be asked politely to leave, then be escorted from the premises without any of the items they set out to buy and told never to return.
I do hope one of them videos the triumph and puts it on YouTube for us to watch.

It may be for gas and electric combined.FatGambit wrote:How on earth do you run up a three grand gas bill?

However, it's quite easy to run up a high bill like this e.g. You start a 'horticultural' business in your loft/shed.
I know of a case where this happened but the occupier bypassed the electric - the £3,600 bill was for what the electric company assessed as being 'illegally extracted'.
That lot though are so stupid and would a kick out of it by using as much as they can (windows open and all the lights on 24/7) so that they thieve as much as possible out of the system - such is their perverted view.
Also, if you are sat on your bum all day doing sod all but watch the likes of Jeremy Kyle on your mega flat screen with surround sound and Stella on tap, your fuel consumption tends to be higher.

PoE seems to think that a debate about the US Glass-Steagall Act (1932) has some relevance to his WeRe Bank scam. It doesn't. I've just read up on the history and effects of the Act - perhaps Peter should too.timcurgenven1 wrote:I think Peter must certainly visit this site on a regular basis, this is his latest spout:

Next he'll be going on about The creature from Jekyll Island.guilty wrote: PoE seems to think that a debate about the US Glass-Steagall Act (1932) has some relevance to his WeRe Bank scam. It doesn't. I've just read up on the history and effects of the Act - perhaps Peter should too.
I kind of hope he does because I know G. Edward Griffin, we've talked a lot.

A grain of sand will be worth more than his pretend currency (and more useful).PeanutGallery wrote:I would love to watch one of Pete's marks try to pay for ANYTHING with those worthless notes. This LEGAL TENDER business might be a good development. Counterfeiting currency might be prosecuted with more priority than passing fake checks.

With 5 million frauds a year recorded in the UK I suspect they might be a little while getting round to mopping Peter up. That's roughly one for every 13 men, women and children in the country.

Re: Peter of England: He's going to be in REal trouble
I wonder how many of those 5 million are nutters reporting something as fraud which is nothing of the sort. I've been 'reported to the police for fraud' more times than I can count by the people I have to deal with through my job, probably once a week at least. They get a crime reference number, the police get some statistic or other and I have yet to hear another word from anyone.Footloose52 wrote:With 5 million frauds a year recorded in the UK I suspect they might be a little while getting round to mopping Peter up. Add to that the nutters who forward every half-arsed scam email to the 'authorities' rather than just delete them like normal people.

Re: Peter of England: He's going to be in REal trouble
It's not as though the conman has scammed millions either, just a few grand which would cover the production of rubber cheques, hotels & his dump of a campervan's fuel running around the country as he does. I doubt anyone will pay jack shit for their ongoing subs now, & all Banks by now, shredding cheques & creditors coming down heavy on the freeloaders asses.Footloose52 wrote:With 5 million frauds a year recorded in the UK I suspect they might be a little while getting round to mopping Peter up

As predicted, he's now fully back on the horse. This just went up a few hours ago on Youtube, but curiously not on his Facebook as of yet.
Trying to listen to it, but it just seems like the usual word salad to me. Notable however that there isn't a single mention of WeRe bank this time around, and the description box only links to Freeman Legal Services. At the end, he talks about wearing ReMovement 'streetwear' and stamping the Rune of Ultimate Power (!!!1!!!) on 'documents', so it seems fairly apparent that he's given up on the imploded bank idea and will be flogging merchandise next.

Video ReMovement - Join Now! Peter storms Downing Street. Well, not exactly, but he calls for a regime change in the UK. Democracy is as dead as disco. "Join Re-Movement. ... Together, we will re-take the country."
I agree with Zeke. Peter reckons he has milked dry the UK market for rubber cheques, and is looking further afield for fresh suckers.

Right.
Perhaps Peter could just explain, in reasonable English, what re-movement is?

Hah, we'd be so lucky. Obfuscation and pseudo-intellectualism are the two biggest (only?) weapons in PoE's arsenal.Perhaps Peter could just explain, in reasonable English, what re-movement is?
It's so damn obscure, it's a mystery as to how to join even if you wanted to. I love the bit at the beginning:
"The first thing I'd like you to do is stop what you are doing, or what you think you should be doing."
No further elaboration whatsoever. What should I stop doing, Saint Peter? Should I stop paying the rent? Refrain from pairing my socks? Stop listening to this old Cyndi Lauper CD? Heck, you mention later on in the video that putting the bins out is playing into the system, so should I not do that tonight?
WHAT ARE YOU BABBLING ABOUT, DAMNIT?
Actually, maybe you're being more literal, Peter. I'm listening to you right now, so perhaps I should stop doing that.
