If you have a plan with free minutes they are included, otherwise it's the same rate as a geographic landline call.

I got as far as the bit where the guy offered the 03 number which he rejected & could take no more, as he was wrong, his woman friend could call the 03 number with her inclusive minutes.

As for 101, hate to say it but he's right, I called the other night & got 15p on my phone bill. There was a time you could pick up your phone & ring the local nick, not any more.

03 numbers have solved the problem of the 08 revenue sharing numbers that became rife, I actively seek out geographic numbers, the saynoto0970 site is good for this.

It's Saynoto0870. I also think the general, main number for my local Police force would still work.

The interesting thing about 101 is that the 15p is a flat rate, so no matter how long the call lasts it will always cost 15p. I believe when it was introduced there were concerns that if the calls were free (as they are to 111 for NHS Direct) that it would lead to abuse. I'm sure the fact that this solution also generates revenue is something that the government regrets.

Why does this idiot believe a phone call to a police station should be free of charge?

Exactly. So if this fictitious lady does not have any free minutes a geographical landline number won't solve her fictitious problem.

Or that a 15p fee should be an obstacle to anything?

Because he is the type of idiot who believes "Cuntstables" are Public Servants and he pays for them. The fact he appears to have so much time on his hands to allow him to attend evictions and make annoying phone calls leads me to believe his financial contribution to any publicly funded body is minimal and is no doubt boosted by people who do not have time for such activities. He will be another that believes he pays in full though.

Missed that one. But yes, if it's not bailiffs he's harassing it's usually hapless company employees/authority figures just trying to do an honest day's work.

And on a brief OT note pub chain Sunday roasts are usually crap anyway.

I agree, it wouldn't be my choice of a Sunday lunch. But the Wetherspoons Sunday roast was a godsend for people living by themselves who wouldn't bother (or didn't know how) to cook a Sunday roast for themselves. I worked with a bloke who was widowed and who'd meet up with a group of single, divorced or widowed middle-aged-to-elderly men every Sunday for lunch at their local Wetherspoons while they watched the football on TV.

The man is an utter bell end of the highest order. So up front he invents a name and pretends he is a reporter.

Good to see when he tried to be a smart ass with the reply he got he had the phone put down on him.

People like Morris view having the phone put down on them as a victory.

You would think that if you was going to try and be a peoples champion and help people, You should at least know what you are doing

Chrisy, Suggesting someone do a statuary declaration to reset a CCJ that someone has been paying for 4 years via an AOE order is pretty stupid, At least learn what an N244 is

What an absolute numpty, you can apply to get a CCJ set aside if it was obtained by default, but NOT after 4 years and definitely, NOT if you've been paying it for 4 years - even if it is through an Attachment of Earnings order and you certainly can't use a Statutory Declaration !

Civil Procedure Rule 13 SETTING ASIDE OR VARYING DEFAULT JUDGMENT

Cases where the court may set aside or vary judgment entered under Part 12

13.3

(1) In any other case, the court may set aside(GL) or vary a judgment entered under Part 12 if –

(a) the defendant has a real prospect of successfully defending the claim; or

(b) it appears to the court that there is some other good reason why –

(i) the judgment should be set aside or varied; or

(ii) the defendant should be allowed to defend the claim.

(2) In considering whether to set aside(GL) or vary a judgment entered under Part 12, the matters to which the court must have regard include whether the person seeking to set aside the judgment made an application to do so promptly.

I don't want any information but I want this guy's phone number. Strange that the Police aren't a 118 service. My main concern is what the fuck has it to do with Chrissy Morris? "I'm phoning to...." I really would be wanting to know who I'm talking to and what it has to do with them. I'm an interfering twat who likes posting YouTube videos doesn't cut it for wasting Police time.
Car owner in intensive care ? Detained under the Mental Health Act? In jail? Don't worry, superhero GobshiteMan Chrissy Morris to the rescue, interfering in all your minor traffic and parking offences.
