As receiver I would be wondering where the money to go on holiday for a month comes from and think he is dissipating assets deliberately. I would be wanting to know more about this and very soon, not when it suits the bankrupt.

I suspect his "holiday" is more of a staycation than a vacation. Does he realise the consequences of not cooperating with the receiver? Or is he just burying his head in the sand?

It's really quite sad that he (and his wife) are going to throw away everything they ever had based on a fantasy.

I would suspect that he has just burned whatever good will he might have had with the receiver, and I would be betting on a visit from whoever it is that does civil arrests in the not too distant future. Our little Quail is about to enter the land of a whole lotta butt hurt and unhappiness, and I feel absolutely no sympathy for him at all.
