Only skimmed this one, but he says he's done 6 stretches inside in 12 years, so I don't think contempt of court will bother him too much.

Our little Quail sounds like neither a solid respectable citizen or an even remotely pleasant person. It would appear that he has a rather nasty chip on his shoulder, serious issues with authority, and a total lack of respect for everyone and everything. In other words a thoroughly unpleasant person.

I am pretty sure that he committed several felonies in performing that song. If not, then Parliament needs to pass some more laws.notorial dissent wrote:Our little Quail sounds like neither a solid respectable citizen or an even remotely pleasant person. I wonder how his meeting with the official receiver went today?
Did he turn up?
Did he cooperate?
Did he bottle it and pay off his debts?
The suspense is minimal

Amazingly stupid. I foresee a further enforced date with the court and a probably stay in the slammer.Firthy2002 wrote:For the avoidance of doubt:

Did he mean to say "September 31"? I think he might have.

I think you are correct, August 31st exists in my calendar I am sure he was thinking it doesn't when he offered it up. To funny, idiot can't even troll the receiver well.TheNewSaint wrote:Did he mean to say "September 31"? I think he might have.

That was my thinking as well.
Am hoping Gavin shoots back with "Very well Mr White I'll see you Thursday 31st August at 10am".

Yep, I think Mr White has misremembered "30 days hath September, April, June and November..." and has thought there is no August 31.

A s receiver I would be wondering where the money to go on holiday for a month comes from and think he is dissipating assets deliberately. I would be wanting to know more about this and very soon, not when it suits the bankrupt.

I suspect his "holiday" is more of a staycation than a vacation. Does he realise the consequences of not cooperating with the receiver? Or is he just burying his head in the sand?Siegfried Shrink wrote:As receiver I would be wondering where the money to go on holiday for a month comes from and think he is dissipating assets deliberately. It's really quite sad that he (and his wife) are going to throw away everything they ever had based on a fantasy.

Even if it is a staycation the OR will want to know how he is able to afford it.
He's likely dropped himself in it massively without realising.

That's rather a nice Range Rover he's got parked on the drive.

I would suspect that he has just burned whatever good will he might have had with the receiver, and I would be betting on a visit from whoever it is that does civil arrests in the not too distant future. Our little Quail is about to enter the land of a whole lotta butt hurt and unhappiness, and I feel absolutely no sympathy for him at all.

This is so not going to end well. I expect further communications will come at the hands of a bailiff, or whatever, and an arrest warrant. So not going to end well.
