Don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing right or wrong here. I think most US laws put unsanctioned (by the parents) marriage and consent at 18 because that's about the age most finish high school. Probably the same reason we don't consider you an adult until then as well. Hmmm, I can't believe I just put those together.eric wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 2:07 am The whole issue about age of marriage IMHO is a bit of a dead end and peculiar to the US where early marriage is viewed by some as a moral failing. In most Western countries excepting some US states, the age of consent is 16. In Canada, up until 2008, it was 14. Just some personal background - my mother in law was 16 when she was married and gave birth to my wife. Her mother was 14 (legal at the time) when she was married. Let's not get into cousin marriage - the only reason my wife and I are only second cousins is because her family was Catholic and mine is Protestant.
Yeehaw - worked on my truck today getting a better sound system and drank too much beer![]()
I can't wait to hear all about how they've abuse his rights since they didn't set him free after he finished his TN sentence. Although we may have to wait awhile since his channel is shut down for the time being.
According to LoneDummy Pop-A-Squat is in the West Tennessee Detention Facility and is planning on putting some money on the phone account. So I guess some delicious insanity over the weekend will be posted. Only question I have is why Pop-A-Squat is there rather than in USP Atlanta getting processed for a club fed vacation.notorial dissent wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 6:21 pmI can't wait to hear all about how they've abuse his rights since they didn't set him free after he finished his TN sentence. These are both total points of edutainment! A new TB test means a new beating when he fights them. And 80 feet is amazing, considering Pat said during trial that she never saw either Laxton or King, didn't see the wolf, didn't see where Mikey hid the corpse, etc.
If Mike is to be believed, the BOP may rain on our parade. He claims they are open to giving him the breathalyzer test, but I don't think that's FDA approved.alexhammer wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:27 pm These are both total points of edutainment! Mikey has allready figured out how to get along with the other inmates in his unit.notorial dissent wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:27 am Oh, I 'm quite sure Mikey will find other stupid pointless battles to fight.... and lose, it's in his blood, his makeup, his nature. He can't help himself. If there is something stupid and self destructive to do, he'll find it and do it.
Rough translation: "Mrs Stump wants the defendants to pay her and three other individuals to sue them" as best as I can figure.Memorandum to file from Mun Y Chan, Registry Officer, Vancouver dated 18-JUL-2019 Telephoned Mrs F Stump twice this afternoon about the two faxes she sent (one was "Plaintiff's Reply to Defendants ...", and the other consisting of the same Reply, "Plaintiff Request, perdiem/travel/rooms/meals: 4 individual"), and CNC's acknowledgement of service of Canada's Motion Record. She was advised that her Reply needed to be served and then faxed to the Registry with proof of service for filing. Mrs Stump indicated that she would be attending to it. placed on file.
